Been cloning Hawaiian girls for a few years, moved around for work for 6 or 7 years, no opportunities to continue. Ordered some new seedage from Nirvana ( the freebies were a nice suprize! Anyone know how long that's been going on?)
Start 'em in peat ( like this little girl). Then Ocean Forest and perlite. Two sets of leaves, and into bondage.
Don't use too much lightNeed some reflectors on the backs of those bulbs to direct more light to your plants. Just tinfoil right on the backs of the bulbs works great. Takes a little fussing around but you can cut pieces so the back end ties around the base and a tab on the front tucks in to hold the foil in place. Can easily double the amount of light that hits the plants.
The way your lights are set up you could even blanket the back sides of the bulbs with foil like a cone to direct light downwards. Shiny side on the inside.
I grew my first buds back in the late 70s then on and off as life, and kids, got in the way but have been at it steady since '01 now. Not as much fun as it used to be but soldiering on.
they can be staked out well when they get to the grow chamber. Grew my first around 74, crappy Mexican ,no nutes, just kids looking for cheap pot. Started serious in the early 80s, met a couple fellas in the MC wh were into it. Got this book for my birthday. Mostly fluff, couple of good ideas . So first girl is in the chamber. This is day one, I'll post another pic in a week..
