when i mix flora series i end up with ph around 5-5.5 and have to raise it to like 6-6.5 depending on growth stage. PH down i would only need if i wasn't feeding anything, which i rarely ever do, my RO water is like 6.8 so no need for down. Not sure what u are doing that u never need PH up....but i wish i knew lol. Im using a soil-less mix.

Soiless or not, feeding hydro nutes is done at 5.8 with the exception being 6.1 for coco, I see no reason to go as high as 6.5. Only time I used pH up was when my trusty meter was wrong and shit got way bad lol.

so im not trying to be an ass here but you get a licence and then learn to grow....dont you think thats a bit back asswards? terrible business plan man...gl though i do how you do well..you should start small and work up...maube 4x1k lights for a first grow...this will give you a yeild you can turn around and some experience..
i only say this because buying all that gear and having a problem and losing a crop will for sure put you under. learn to grow first by experience before dumping thousands in and needing a return to continue...always prepare for the worst so you dont leave yourself up shits creek without a paddle..
normal soil grow i would suggest. learn about hydro before dyving into it or you may end up drowning..
again im not trying to be an asshole here...just my 2¢

oh and also another thing...dont fking take anything anyone says on this site to be true, use it as a guide to do your own research..1/2 the people on this site including myself are noobs who think they know what they are talking about but havent the slightest clue...

Accurate stuff there.. I use regular tap to get my ph higher.. It always phs a bit to low.
You could use armor si as a way to bump ph.

Depends what/if your soiless medium has to buffer PH, but 6.5 works great toword the end of flower

.That's not real work... I've spent way more time with the maintence and pruning and pest management. Watering is minor..

They could do some soil and hydro... A plan b.
Soil IMHO has it's drawbacks.. I've picked up pests from soils
So you have to have pest management from the start.

Nah.. You can reuse coco.. Just add new stuff.. Doesn't last forever tho.. No big deal it's a part of your costs. Heh.. Even with Dwc I don't bother cutting netpots outa a rootball, just get another one..
Setting up DTW coco is fast, pots are easily moved around, raised lowered etc, DTW is mentioned to provide consistent feed, for a novice not familiar with ph ppm swings, it's a smarter cheaper and faster way.
It's easy to phase out the handwater coco since the setup cost was minimal.. Or buy more time for fabrication and setup of critical systems.

you need to start where we all started: playing "T-ball" with soil first. you can switch to soilless and then hydro systems over time.
besides, you might just be surprised at the FAR SUPERIOR quality of cannabis grow in organic soil.
