Im having a problem with thirps. I have slightly controlled them by using insicticidel soap, due to the amount of plants and space im unable to spray every inch of the plant. I was thinking about ordering lady bags to gobble em up. I hear good and bad things, looking for others experiences:leaf:

btw i have a cool tube with a screen covering so they wont get burned up

its not their normal food,

Hypoaspis miles - commonly called flour mites - eat thrips larvae
Pirate bugs - eat thrips and larvae

i eradicated thrips with SPINOSAD and a HOT SHOTS PEST STRIP in 9days. 3day intervals i sprayed plants and medium along with grow room floor walls etc and placed a HOT SHOTS PEST STRIP out for those 9days.

I've had a lot of success with the Hot shots pest strip as well. That plus ladybugs smell like ass.

orchard supply has a bunch of beneficial bugs. go and check what they have, and write the names down. then go home and look them all up to see what they do. some of the bugs are ordered and the eggs get sent to you in the mail

Ladybugs kick ass. They are little warriors designed to beat the shit out of anything that hurts your plants, and then eat it - american style.

If you bother them too much, then yes they will squirt some yellow stuff(actually their blood) onto you or the surrounding area. If you do not mist them once or twice a day, then yes, they will also die from no water..
