LA Medical Cannibus Cup Feb 16-17

Sounds pretty lame...was thinking about going today, but instead I think I'll go down to Venice and drop a few hundred dollars on glass...need a bong for flowers, maybe another concentrate rig...And curious2grow bought a pax, I think I might buy the micro g pen set for 65 bucks too.

Always a win when you came back from Vegas with any money, right?

Yeah, they didn't bring out the whole line. Ordering from the site is better, you will get packed with all the goodies like you were at the festival, you can even request it to be signed. I was in TGA shirt and beanie, I asked Sub about the Son's of Dank shirt specifically.

Good move. They had a few concentrate rigs but I would be shocked if they were selling them for under $200, not much glass otherwise, whatever overstock dispensaries were pushing, no blowers with their both besides pure glass was the lonely solider.

Well Im headed to the cup a day late. The LA cup in San Bernadeno Laugh the fuck out loud!

Going by myself mostly to go to the RD booth, and mostly for seeds. I will give second day review.

Now I wish I was going today instead of yesterday, armed with this new information!

I wanna go to a convention like this geared to growers... that would be totally badass. it would be badass if it were like a las vegas trade convention for grow stuff but in an area that let you medicate or in a legal state. I don't feel too awful bad -- price on TGA gear was same as ordering from hempdepot there wasn't really a saving there unless you order someplace more expensive... but damn i wish i coulda got ahold of the space candy, jesus og and whatever else new they had... there's a very good chance i would've gone hog wild at the tga booth and left with a shitload of seeds.

They had a co seed company there. Tr seeds. They didn't have what I wanted @ 1st because where still setting up so he threw me a 10 pac of their dawg's waltz haze, then I came back and picked up their uncle monkey haze and bubba tom hayes. Owner was super chill n gave his business card w personal cell# if I have any questions or issues with the gear.

Word, been in La for a few years now and really need to branch out and make more grower friends. Between my plants, live in girlfriend, and childhood friends in the city I have no one else to share my flowers with. I've out grown so many strains I wish I would have given someone a cutting. My cousin just recently started growing so as he is learning and making mistakes I use him to keep all my old cuttings acting as a nursery for me. But I think he is a long way from me taking a plant back after its been in his care.

LOL Tell me about the G pen? I paid a lot for the Pax but I'm wanting a Volcano but figured the Pax might be a decent place to start from to see what vaping is like. I wanted something discreet with it's own heating. No carrying a lighter.

I was there today.

The Cup was Awesome this year! Last year the Cup was a joke and it was very sad. I had a great time this year! Rare Dankness (RD with the Lemon Pledge 29% GTH), Sin City (Sin City with the kick ass Blue Power), GDP (Nice booth with live clones) and
Cali Connection (All you can handle dab hits! Even though I don't support them it was fun to watch!) The RD and Cali Connection booths were tearing it up and blown out with people! Lots of hot chicks! One girl walked around with only a small pasty covering the nipples Everyone was really friendly and the turn out was twice as big as last year! They even had two bars this year, one for beer and the other for ordering mixed drinks, whatever you want! The freebies this year rocked! Lots of free seeds and so many other things I can't even list but one of which was a few custom blown glass bongs! The only negative thing this year is the lack of food vendors, you had a choice of three; Hotdogs, Mexican Food and potatoes on a stick. Other than that 2013 killed it!

A chick passed out and smashed her face in front of our booth yesterday. It was wild, she was just walking by. About 3 hours prior to that, all vendors were told to put chairs out front for people to sit down after dabs. I know I gave out at least 50 free dabs this weekend between answering seed questions. Nice to meet you nightmare, and lots of other RIU people.

Yeah! It was wild this year! Way different from last year. My girl barely made it to the car. I asked for a wheel chair but they didn't have any for the parking lot ride. It was nice to meet you guys too! The RD crew is nicer and cooler than I thought! I saw a guy that look like JESUS. Did you see Jesus?

Hey RD MI, it was nice to meet you and Mrs RD at the booth on Saturday. Picked up some Scotts OG. I was the guy in the top hat.

Why not start planning a meet up place for next year but how if we aren't sure of the venue? If HT would simply commit to the Orange Show venue we could all meet up at Phil's, gorge on cheeseburgers, and onion rings then head over as a group with some food on board so no one would fall out (immediately anyway). It would be nice to know some other so cal growers.

With the uncertainty of the location nothing would stop us from planning an RIU meetup at say the Beach for an evening of roasting hot dogs, marshmallows, s'mores and music. We could have our own 'growers cup' and then simply fall asleep around the fire! Living in So Cal there's a lot of nice options.

You vendors deserve a LOT of kudo's for even showing up after 2 venue changes. I felt so sorry for you guys. Were you able to change to a Hotel closer to San Bernardino or did you have to commute. I can't imagine having to drive to and from LA to San Bernardino as a visitor here. Especially with all the construction in San Bernardino. The fact you guys showed at all is awesome.

Our hotel was non refundable, so we made the drive both days. Honestly wasn't terrible. Lost a few hours of sleep. Was just annoying considering I'm lookin at the original venue from my hotel room right now...

Haha...the pax is for flowers/plant materials. The g pen micro is for smoking concentrates, specifically bho or full melt. Didn't pull the trigger on one yet, but ought a new dry pipe at Venice yesterday.



Venice wouldn't be a terrible place for an RIU meet n greet...already enough people smoking weed n public down there that we wouldnt even make a dent.
