So you are running over a 3 week veg on your og's? Only reason I'm asking is cuz i would love to get those numbers on my fire og cut. Im a little over 1 3/4 per lamp right now and i can't seem to get over that. Im running a 21 day veg in 6 inch pots and going straight into 10's on Flowering day.
Try to Veg 10 days in the 10s. Use lots of beneficials, great white , orca , roots excell, Even if it sets back your program do it once and see if it makes the difference . Top them to keep them short. pinch the stocks to beef them up and tighten internodes. What's the medium ?

I hate roots excel bro. I used it for 7 years tricking my self into thinking it was actually working. I am using beneficials but only on transplant into the 10's. I seriously will consider taking your advice on 10 days in my 10's with veg. Thanks.

Like 4 to light, but really 6 with the cross over lighting from the other row on hoods. If that makes any sense.

been doing some research were i work and talking to some the boys we came up with a few good led vs hps that could do it but then again prices are just out of this planet u could set up a whole room of hps to the price of these leds but give it 2-3 years prices may come down but best one we have seen by far would be from s.e.t leds like no other leds i have seen and would blow half these diy's out the water

Im in sunshine #4. With watering they usually need water every 3rd day, so like 2 days no water 3rd day water. Definitely try to water as much as i can.
You veg 3 weeks in ss#4?! How? Mine used to veg so slow, what nutes do you use for veg? I had to get away from sunshine it did me really well for years but I did a side by side with coco and a mix of coco sunshine, and straight sunshine+ a little perlite . Nutrifield coco shits all over sunshine with my feed. This run im going to do some in coco/perlite and some with coco/perlite and a 20% ss#4 mix and see if the coco still out performs. Specially with the ogs the coco smoked the ss#4. And I had a lot less issues and yellowing , everything stays green the whole time. It all depends on the feed I guess. It was hard for me to make the switch after almost getting 3 per light multiple times with ss4. I can't grow ogs or touchy strains in that stuff .

Sorry but not for growing went to the site and the wavelength isn't right for growing.

Indeed. I told the led church here many times that space is a given and what one pulls from that given space 5-6 times a year is what matters. If you grow with low intensity by spreading light out you get more GPW yes.... LED growers increase the GPW by lowering W, not by increasing the G. It's all a fucking joke...
It's official Gavita lights lose. You have to change the bulb and reflector every year. About the time I need to change my cobs would be in 5 years and by that time even better HID destroying leds will be out.

Is this true? Because i want one of those, as well as a DIY LED.

That is not even a big deal, there is typical up keep cost and operational cost. I still don't understand this argument, led vs hps, they are apples and oranges. Hard to compare apples and oranges. If doing a large multiple light grow then of course HID is going to be the route most will go and if doing a smaller space that is limited for air flow and cooling then makes sense to coin up for led. But again if it is a commercial grow that has to meet standard then a DIY led might not make the certification process with out that UL tag.

For optimal results yes. The reflector is specifically the piece of aluminium. Seen it as low as 40 bucks. Don't clean it with moist, or rub it, it's sensitive.

And yes, for optimal results, you should replace the bulb every year.

That is, however, not specific for "Gavita". If you don't replace the phillips DE after a year it will still put out more light than nearly every other bulb out there. And that goes for the german aluminium too, it will still reflect better than the materials used in inferior hoods.

The life time of LEDs also assumes professional application. That gavita will last, whatever the temp and the humidity.

Nice try RS but no cigar.

UL approved parts, Just think of building your own computer the Leds are UL cerified and the drivers are UL certified so what are you talking about?

I saw you whined to the mods when you got rush in your grow journal lol Pussy. I love America live in Cali and I gave up on HID when I grew my first led with cheap Chinese leds and did better the HPS with less wattage go figure. You can't say that because you've never used led but I have used hps and my last grow I did 20+ lbs under hps but that was 10 1k lights. I'm gonna be flowering on Monday 744watts in a 4x8 tent and I'll post pics lol. I got my new Electricity bill and it was only $170 instead of $300+ and no ac and no loud ass exhaust fans lol.
