??L.E.D Lights??

I made a stealth closet with a shelf in the middle so i can Veg. on one half and Flower on the other. Each 1/2 is a small growing area only 10 square feet. I'm using flourescents right now, but with the fixture and the bulb I lose about 6 inches of grow room.
I would like to go to a L.E.D light, I was looking at the flat panel lights there only 1 1/4 inches thich, and cool to the touch 50watts red/blue.
I was also thinking about mounting them on the insides of my closet.
Has anyone used L.E.D's?

I just sent a money order to HTG Supply for a little over $400 for three 50w panels. I've got a 400w HPS and a MH (and 4 60w multi-spectrum CFL's) but with the power savings and the absence of heat, I think I'm making a very sound decision - especially come summertime! ...plus the plants look cool as hell under them, not so with HPS.

I use L.E.D. panels that I bought from htgsupply.com and they work great. They are so efficient and the bulbs last a lifetime, that they eventually pay for themselves very quickly.

The only thing you have to worry about is the fact that these panels provide very directional light. They do a great job until the plants get big, then you have to either get more of them or find another supplement to use on the lower branches because they wont get any light from the panels at the top.

Thanks for the input. :)
This HTGSUPPLY.COM seems like the place to get some lights. I was worried about getting screwed over, Read some stuff about people selling cheap lights that were lens colored Red/Blue, and not an actual Red/Blue Light.
Seems like 50watts is about the lowest you would want to go? Right??
I was looking at a 4 panel set 30watts(per panel) for a little over $500

But if someone can point me in the right direction for some decent L.E.D Panel lights
That would be CooL :)
