yes the 150 hps does great in my small cabinet, the last yield was 39 grams, the one before that was 28 grams. its scrog, the difference is: scrog (screen of green) you can use as little as one plant and still yield the same as 2 or 3 an so on by vegging it longer and spreading it across the screen. SOG (sea of green) is where you take as many plants as you can fit under the light, and grow small one cola plants without a screen.

the scrog veg stage is basically complete, a little earlier than i anticipated put all to the good. Going to install the hps and let her rip...no nurient burn this time, im following the directions (low ppms = GOOD!) 600 - 900ppm is my target then taper off to nothing and flush.. i would like to beat my record and at least yield 40 grams, but we will see what she can do.im testing my theory that 150w of light will produce the same amount of bud with one plant as it will two plants under the same light.

the sour is starting to stretch out and im gonna have some bada$$ clones soon..mom will be ready at the same time.

sour diesel is starting to fill up the room, might have to top it again before cloning to keep it from touching the cieling, im expecting major node stretching with this strain. it grew an inch in two days.

great setup, repped and I wanted to say i've grown outdoors mostly and a few hydro grows, but you've given me the inspiration to try out a stealth grow like this one. Question, how did you get the outlet installed inside your cab? and what function are those 3 PVC elbows nearby serving?

thanks, and im happy to hear that ive inspired you to do a stealth grow.
i actually wired an outlet for each of the three chambers, as well as two more oulets that run 2 power strips inside the utility box above the clone room ( sour d is in the clone room at the moment). the outlets and the utitily box are run in junction with a 15 amp circuit breaker thats mounted in the back, so if needed i can switch the thing off and kill the whole box quite easily.it takes some skill and knowledge of electricity, which i have since a family member was an electrician for 25 years.some of the things i have done electrically i wouldnt recommend attempting for someone who is not mechanically inclined, or doesn't have basic knowledge of electrical components, you could fry yourself and your equipment easily. but if your somewhat skillful you could mount an outlet fairly easily.i would suggest a GFIC outlet with a built in breaker , for less chance of frying your wires and pumps etc..especially if your working around water.

im glad you mentioned the pvc piping i havent got to talk about that much on this thread. those are the intake pipes for the whole cab. my exhaust system starts with a 50cfm bathroom vent fan, mounted directly over my hps ballast and the two power strips i mentioned earlier in the utility room. which keeps any heat put off by the ballasts, ac adapters, and timers out of the box almost instantly. then the utility room has an intake pipe that is 4 inch in diameter and runs over the top of the mother room into the flower room heres a pic to kinda explain that better

the exhaust pipe tapers off to a 3 inch adapter which my initial idea was to just stick the cooltube right to that pipe, but later decided to run the cooltube separated on its own exhaust circuit.on the other side of the flower room is a 2 1/2" pvc that runs all the way back into the top of the mother room, the mother room then has two, 2 inch pipes that let intake air in for the mother, and finally the three, 1/2 inch pipes that you mention. this all creates a vacuum so if there are any cracks or holes in the box the smell is always being pulled into the exhaust fan. i mentioned before that i got the idea from the "marijuana connesiuer cabinet" i have a link to that on my "re-veg" thread. but the idea is to gradually taper the pipes down to keep negative pressure inside at all times to keep the smell down.and heres the kicker, and i dont suggest this to anyone lol i cut a hole in the wall, through the drywall and pump the air straight into the wall! i have no idea where the air goes but it keeps the smell completely undetectible, its a tried and tested method, and it works. Nobody has ever mentioned the smell, even i dont smell anything until i open that sour d..then man! it is stankin! haha

this was the box this morning before i installed the hps in the bloom room.

did kind of a supercropping/stem training on mom just bent the branches over real good so they dont touch the light, shes got plenty of good clone candidates already but its too earlt to start those yet.

thought i would throw in some root shots since i havent posted many updates on those, heres the sour d roots...

heres momz roots, kinda thin and spindly but thats perfectly fine because i want the momz to grow slow, lanky stretched nodes ,with low nutrients, and with low light levels, that way when they get cloned they get a boost to get going.

and finally the scrog roots, not as big as my previous grows but its still early so im excpecting it will root like crazy during flowering.also with it painted black theres is zero algea growth so that took care of that.

heres a shot of the scrog after i installed the hps cooltube, its sparkling clean and ready to go.

Sweet looking buds to be. I think you should change the name of the SCROG plant to " Chicken Wire Kush". I will get mine lower next time around. I may just use 1 net-pot for my next go.

thanks, how bout "scrogger diesel"? lol im loving how as the branches get longer they also get lower maximizing my bud length potential to about 14- 15 inches instead of about 8-9 with my previous screen. i think i will need that precious height with the sour diesel being a taller sativa.

hydroponics can be intimidating at first, because there are so many methods and options. you can do, an ebb an flow, or top feed, deep water culture, aeroponic, nutrient film technique...bla bla bla..lol and use meduims like perlite, rockwool, hydroton, coco coir, etc etc...the list goes on. but i found that a deep water culture is the easiest, least expensive way to grow and get a nice big frosty harvest.its a, plastic container, a net pot, an air pump and air stone. super simple. add your nutrients (and always follow the directions) and your good to go.

oh ok im at 150w and about 25000 lumens i believe, thats great to get that much out of t5's, sounds like you get about 3/4 oz per plant is that about right?

so its 3 days later since i switched to the flower cycle and she is starting to show signs of stretching i think this is gonna be a good one

the roots are shooting off like crazy too

i set the ppms down at just below 400 so they can transition into flowering.

mom is defintily filling up her room, screaming to be cloned

sour diesel is about ready to be cloned too, its already about to touch the lights.

heres after a little trim to couple top leaves that were getting too close to the light
