Time to Legalize? A Panel on Marijuana Law and Policy
By Evan Erickson | March 7, 2014 - 12:30 pm

This week on Addressing Alaskans, five panelists offering varying perspectives on marijuana law and policy discuss the implications of marijuana reform in Alaska, as well as nationwide. A wide range of topics are examined, including criminal justice, public health and economic questions. The discussion, featuring local and national experts, reveals the complex issues Alaskans will consider as they prepare to vote in August on a ballot initiative to legalize recreational marijuana.

Founder and executive director of the Drug Policy Alliance, Ethan Nadelmann, acted as keynote
speaker as well as taking part in the discussion, which included questions from the public and was moderated by Jason Brandeis of the UAA Justice Center.

Their discussion, “Time to Legalize? A Public Discussion on Marijuana Law and Policy,” was hosted by the UAA Justice Center and recorded at the Wendy Williamson Auditorium in A nchorage.

As of now raven act lets Alaskans have 4zips and up to 24 plants in your home. So why the fuck would you legalize it let gov control your smoke? Wake the fuck up, make it legal 8ths will run 60 to 80 bucks unless you have medi card then it's 35 to 45 but here's the catch med mari j patients lose the 2nd amendment rights and you not be smoking outside like seattle There is lready talk that wax and oils are too potent so we won't have that and edibles re under fire in Oregon not allowed wont be long for Alaska decriminalize not legalize!
