Kratom

Hello my fellow substance users.

Today I'd like to know about Kratom. I've read what I could, but I'd like first hand experiences, recipes, comparisons to other substances, ways of use, quality, quantity, dosage, prices, positive/negative effects, physical/cerebral effects, narcotic/spiritual effects, the works basically...

This is the most accurate website for Kratom. http://www.sagewisdom.org/kratomguide.html I buy mine here too. It is a little more expensive, but well worth it..

Kratom in low doses is a stimulant, and rather nice. At higher doses, you start to get the Opiate like effects. Although not a true opiate, it has many of the same properties, with the addiction value as well.

I have done it 3 times. The first was way too much. I got severe sweats 30 min after taking it. The nausea is really bad at high doses. I did not vomit, but the other 2 that I shared it with did. I had to lay down, and this is where Kratom is great. Go to a quiet place, take your dose, put on some music, and just lay back. Closing eyes gets rid of nausea 100% for me.

It is really easy to prepare. Just crumble the leaf, add it to 2 L of water, bring to a boils and let it evaporate down to about 100ml. Repeat with clean water and combine the two strain the leaf off, boil down more if you like. Depending on the amount used to make the extract that will be the size of your dose(s).
Be prepared, this is some of the most vile crap ever. It is bitter, and nasty. Do not add sugar, it makes it worse! I just evaporate mine so I only have like 1/2 oz per dose. It gets really think, but is easier to wash down with a shot of vodka or something.

Read through the guide and ask me anything else. Cheers.

Wow, thanks. Here's a question: Say you take some for a stimulating effect. Can people notice any difference in your behavior? Are you capable of reasoning, seriousness? Does it slow down reflexes?

At that dose, nobody would have a clue, you just "feel" good. I have not done it at that low of a dose, but I have heard some say it is like a very small dose of Coke. I imagine it is like an energy drink type thing.

Are there any addiction issues... and if they are... which would you say is most addictive.. K or pot?
I find weed very addictive... not just phsycologicaly.

K is very addictive, with significant withdrawl symptoms, very similar to opium addictions. Many people where it grows are truely addicted. It has been used as a way for heroin addicts to segway into something softer prior to complete sobriety.

I guess it would all depend on the person. from the guide:
Is kratom habit forming?
Although a small number of people have become dependent on kratom (primarily in Thailand), kratom is not habit forming when it is used responsibly. If used occasionally as a recreational drug, rather than daily, there is virtually no risk of becoming dependent on it. But it is very important not to get into the habit of using it every day. For kratom, like many drugs [e.g. alcohol, coffee, tobacco, etc.] if used on a daily basis for a prolonged period of time, could become a habit hard to break. IT IS IMPORTANT NOT TO USE KRATOM EVERY DAY. Before starting to experiment with it set yourself usage guidelines. If you EVER find it is hard to stay within your usage guidelines immediately quit using kratom.
