kosher kush vs OG kush Dr Green Thumb

The perfect set up isn't just germing, it requires a steady room temperature and humidity as well as no light leaks and a sterile environment. I know how to germ seeds anyone can do that but to grow one seed into its full potential is near impossible. You have to know exactly what they want to eat and not every plant is the same.

The perfect set up doesn't exist for me, hence $100 seed will not be on my list.

( I like the setup I have, but unless you build a house from scratch or build a room from scratch it is hard to have every single thing that one would want in the perfect spots.)
I understand how that works. It was just in response to what you said;

"but in reality some seedlings don't hold vigor and need to be culled. Others may dry out too fast (in my new house the humidity is like 20%"

Just throwing out option.

And I understand about battling the elements. We are at the mercy of our region, and Mother Nature or a deep pocket.

I try to control what I can, and try not to worry about what I can't.

A plant can still thrive in unobtimal conditions, but I agree it wouldn't be as nice as if we all had state of the art climate controls.

:D I had two margaritas and a couple dabs, we both agree on this. I have too many darn seedlings I wish I had people to donate them to it is heartbreaking to lose any of them.

You already posted which one was the ''strongest''
Shit together? Be more specific. ''Fuck up a grow?'' Be more specific
I just find strongest to be relative overall. If you care about only THC and the like. And my comment wasn't meant to be read as an insult, simply is your system dialed in and can you afford to fuck up a $100 by burning it or abusing it. Nothing personal, I haven't seen your grows (and honestly I'm not trying to insult you or anyone) simply spending that money on one bean, I'd have my ducks in a row is all.

No No No dont think I take as disrespect at all bro, your here to help.

Yes im looking for the some of the Highest numbers, Kosher had the highest Iv seen and it was an outdoor grow. But the Doc gets much praise. So I need a kush and need the strongest one I can find genetic wise. I have looked into LA Con, Tahoe and the likes and when the cali con has another promo ill be with them next I suppose if I dont fall in love with the docs

Its a valid question. My problem is I think I underfeed too much. generally im at 100-200 ppm. My water is 0ppm. I get scared sometimes because the runoff is north of 1000ppm sometimes on some strains(killing fields). 1 scoop of beatie blooms and protekt brings me up to 60ppm....Now what? lol. My stickest strongest right now is My Herculies and I just did what I wanted to them Gave beastie Blooms for 6weeks almost every water in between that Dynagro then cha ching 6 weeks after every water I dont even remember giving it plain water and its the most amazing sticky stuff although im sure i took way past what I was suppose to I think the cha ching keeps it from fully maturing until the flush. so I got 2 issues Im underfeeding and I simply have to many strains with diffrent needs, as the killing fields will stop drinking if I feed it any where near that much. Mad Sci loves the heavy feeding too but will loose crystal if i feed only dynagro threw the gro. My extrema loves the heavy feeding aswell. So its a strain dial in issue im having. Any suggestions on that throw it out if you worked with these.

I can spend the money on those seeds but not what I really wanted which is his bubba kush. If I could afford that I would just get OG and Kosher together but i think bad Idea in a room full of 6 diffrent strains anyway especially if kosher is finiky. LA confidential is a solid strain that im itching to try for my self as I need a heavy cbd strain to myself. If the light bill is $400 a month the price of these seeds isnt a issue though

I take it you grow hydro? I'm a soil guy so can't help ya there with specifics, but I under feed as well at times. I find its far easier to fix and that overfeeding generally had negative effects on over all yield and quality. I am a keep is simple stupid mindset and avoid any "boosters". It seems boosters cause more problems than anything else from a nutrient standpoint. I've grown 4 kush varieties from RP/DNA. All were finicky, which I think has something to do with the whole S 1 and fem mating as it's a characteristic I noticed across the board. Simply a theory, but I suspect that's the case. All were low yielding but great smoke over all. I've found better breeders I'd try over their gear, but I can't say it's bad. I've kinda grown out of OG to be honest. Unless it is a verified clone, I'm not too particularly interested as there is simply so much more out there to grow.

If you search Dr. Gruber here or Google it you''ll find Dr. Gruber has grown and journalled almost all of Dr. Greenthumb genetics. I have too. In my opinion, if I were looking for the most potent plant I could get I'd go with Doc's OG or Chemo OG called OhZone. The right Ghost OG or OhZone pheno is head and shoulders stronger than anything else I've seen

Soil. When I underfeed the potency is not there like the ones that were pumped up. The Afhgan and widow crosses love it the hazes crosses prefer to be under fed

Potency potential is in the genetics, not in the nutrients. As long as the plants needs are met, potency will show if it's in the genetic code. No additive or over fertilizing will change that.

1St If we are underfeeding we are without a dought not meeting our plants needs. I am stronger eating 175 grams of protien a day taking 200 mg of caffiene then i am 75 grams of protien and 50 mg of caffiene. You underfeed you underwork you get low results

2nd im sure the doc has better genetics then sannie especially the chem lines.

Back to 1 how do you feel about nutrient comparison runs? I seen advanced produced the most potent And yield online compared to dyna. Foxfarm produced heavy resin potent more then dyna for me. Dyna which i call the multivitamin stayed green all the way threw but not so much weight and crystal

Healthy plants with healthy genetics produce potent plants. Under feeding is easily correctable, no one said starve a plant. Not to outright dismiss your an analogy, but plants != people. Over feed and guess what you get? Damaged root systems as they will take a huge hit due to sensitivity and those leaves with burnt tips will reduce photosynthesis. How plants work is nothing at all like how we do minus sharing the same fundamental building blocks.

I know everyone complains about dr greenthumbs prices but most of his strains are right there with pricing except the katsu cut now. most are 10 pack fems for between 150-225. Then you have the 5 packs most are 150 except cheese, bubba Og, sour 13, g13 and the dope are all 200 have had the cheese, and smoked the bubba OG and sour 13 the cheese and sour 13 are monster yielders, and the bubba Og yields better then one would expect and more than both parents on their own. All are firè. Divine is dropping 10 packs for 200, same with csi nspecta, soma has 10 packs that are from 140-260. A 10 pack of NYCD is $261 on the tude. Connoisseur Genetics has fem 5 packs for $96, making a 10 pack $192. Then there are the reg seed breeders like mr nice has some 10 packs that push $200, others like karma, Gage green, have 10 pack regs that go up to like $110. Loompa farms has reg 10 packs that are $200 and I don't hear anyone complain about them. There are only a few strains that doc has that I didn't agree with the price like the bubba and g13, but if doc paid 20k for a cut of g13 then I get the price, which he has dropped to 200 for 5 seeds but he gives 6 and it's the biggest yielder I've seen, my buddy pulled 21 zips off a 10 gallon dwc bucket indoor of g13 that was fire, so potent it was just knock u the fuck out bud! Had a mostly hashy taste with light fruit undertones. But then he has specials like now he has GSC forum cut s1s that actually produce offspring close to the forum cut for $125 a ten pack of fems. Divine has 10 pack of GSC s1s for $250. Most importantly the top 3 buds I've ever grew/smoked were dr greenthumb, his endless sky very finicky and slightly harder then most strains to find that right phenò but once you do u won't smoke anything else, I lost the perfect pheno, 10's across the board. Then his big Purps was so unique, tasty and potent it's probably my second favorite and third would be flook juice, docs endless sky x big purps was hands down the most trich covered potent plant I've ever seen or smoked. His cheese, og and bubba are all crazy too. So don't sleep on docs gear, strains like his chem g13, sour 13 and g13 are monster yielders of top notch smoke, the chem 13 defines the words cash crop. And docs trainwreck, chem 4 and cheese are the only strains I've ever run that all 10 phenos were high quality and was next to impossible to pick keepers.

Retail Mr Nice is a bit much. Auction MrNice is usually pretty damn cheap though.

Grow out the docs OG and report back. That cut is a good one, chances are there will be good plants to be had. I haven't seen too many others S1'ing it although I'm sure they exist.
