Thanks for sharing this. It might not have worked out perfectly, but you plainly stated it was a test. Messing around with things and experimenting is how we learn. I usually tuck away fan leaves that are blocking bud sites if possible,or sometimes if it is a big one Ill cut off a few of the fingers that are shading a top. Kind of splitting the difference I suppose :)

Sorry no pic's to support due to the trauma and urgency required by this war.

I wake up in the middle of the night to find clones and clone pods all over the house in a kind of "shit dance" pattern.

As well as a brown masked pittbull with his face in the corner not looking at me.

CLONE WARS!!! I sprung into action and swooped up all the fallen solders and placed them into a cup of water.

Re made pods with thigh high pantyhose and insta grow soil. They were already beginning to root so I slipped them back in my new pods, wet them again.

Sprayed the leaves and dome and put it in a LOCKED BOX this time.

This is the end of the Clone Wars... bongsmilie

Please pray for the fallen solders...
Hahahaha. Gotta love the pets. My God I laughed way too hard hearing about the fallen soldiers. Hang a sign of shame on that pooch!

Interesting experiment. Seems to be going well so far. Good luck with the remainder of the grow.

Any signs of hermies at all? I had an entire KK 5pk go full hermie on me.

@grasschopper yeah it was pretty funny, lol. >.<

@Bigby, thanks, no males or hermie yet. Not pushing them too hard either so less chance at stressing aside from the clippings.

Here's a updated picture.

After not seeing her for a week the garden smelled way more diesel-like then last week.

Starting to powder the tops all white. 10x shows clear fat heads, few more weeks.

Final Thoughts:

KK was a very fun strain to play with. It was able to bounce back from anything I threw at it. It grew at a steady pace and protected itself from pests very well. (Found root gnats in pots in the same room) It smelled great growing and smoking and was a hoot around the collective.

The defoliation was quite the experience never having done it before. I learned plenty from online posted research but learned more from my hands on experimenting. I visually enjoyed the growth performance of defoliation in the maturing stage. However the final cut I did did in flowering slowed the growth, it could be too many were cut or too late in the cycle to cut. I have seen others cut later then that and done wonderful so more research is necessary. I have some ideas after I re-review the notes.

The final yield was 2oz, that's nothing to write home about but more then I expected. When considering it was under 8k luminen (4) T5 bulbs I am happy with it. The real test will be to see if more comes from the no clippings plant under the same conditions. The flower has a strong fuel smell and a strong sweet/sour taste. It's quite sticky and difficult to tear apart without compacting and most of the white hairs turned orange and red. It taste like it smells and leaves a lingering aroma of fuel in your presence.

Overall I had fun, learned something, got medicated, had fun some more and got medicated again. bongsmiliebongsmilie

Thank's everyone for you're 2c; until next time.
