kooks DNA kushberry and rocklock grow.

havent been on for years.
got some extra time on my hands during this grow so why not document for the masses.
i picked up 6 feminized Dna Genetics kushberry (ogkushXoregon blueberry)
and 6 rocklock(rockstarXwarlock)

• germed 3 each in separate glass cups of purified water.within a little over a day all were ready for soil.
• its been a little over a day now and rocklock#1 has already sprouted,pretty quick for my experience.
• just doing it kinda kickback this season since last season 1000 watt hps electricity's bill was gnarly.
• 2 kushberry and 3 rocklocks in 7 gallon fabric grow bags.
• 1 kushberry in a 3 gallon fabric grow bag in my stealth led grow box that ive had for years.
• i usually use the Mr.growpro box for starting seeds and clones then move them up as they age but im not using my big boy light so screw it.
• just waiting for the rest to sprout nothing i can do from here.
• im using fox farms ocean forest soil
• and eventually ill be feeding with the general hydroponics FloraSeries Performance pack.

in the past years ive grown white fire og,mazar,purplekush,jack herer,grand fire and dead head og,along with some random bagseeds between outdoor and indoors growing mediums.

I grew rocklock a few years back & always wanted to grow kushberry there used to be some threads on it here that looked good

@horribleherk hellyeah man any suggestions for that rocklock???

while were waiting here is last seasons grow.
1000 watt hps 1500 watt ballast simple closet grow.
lots of fans general hydroponics flora nova nutes used only with ff soil.

2 out of 3 rocklock sprouted.
2 out of 3 kushberry sprouted.
im always open to suggestions...

5/6 sprouted beautifully.
kushberry #3 has still yet to sprout hmm maybe shes a dud.

i have a question and in need of advice!!!
soooo i have a mr grow pro stealth box that i just pulled out of storage got my seedlings in there now under the 3,15 watt each led light strips.
im thinking of gutting the led strips building a bigger grow cabinet with lots more space half built already just need panda film and that little light bulb elbow connection thingy.
then adding 1 23 watt 2700k cfl OR (heres where im stuck) my 10 watt white 3000k led bulb.????
then add a 26watt (anything in the 20 range) 6500k cfl....
its only goona have 2 plants underneath abouttt what give or take 90 watts total.
if your out there lemme know

I just run flouros I have T5 HO 4 foot purpose built lights plus and also I have some regular 4 root dual bulb flouro shop lights. If I was fighting heat I might consider led but 6500k flouros build such a beautiful plant for such low cost in bulbs, remember even led has life hours.

Your plants last year looked great it will be neat to see your babies grow up.

hellyeah thanks ive had some okay grows with just the 45 watt led so i figure if i throw in a little extra light it willl yield alil better then previous grows.especially since ill have more room when i finish the new grow cab.

last seed popped this morning! woo.

so i built my new cab its about double the width and maybe a foot bigger than my mr grow pro case which was fairly big.
i implemented the leds i have one 23 watt cfl 2700k on top of that.
once they get a lil older ill be having 2 26 watt 6500k cfls for veg with the leds.
then switch to the 2700 ks for veg with the led.

so decided im doing 2, 40 watt cfls or 1, 60 watt cfl if i do the 2 i can have 2 light spectrums at one time which is nice. plus overall more light just maybe more heat as well when compared to one 60 watt but with just 1 spectrum versus 2.
if anyone has some input lemme know.

today is the official count of life. day 1 week 1.

from stealth box to a nice lil grow tent with double maybe triple the room my mr grow pro had.
heres a lil picture of the bottom half with lights hangin over my babies.

so the tent is complete.got another fan got more cfls.

• i added a big 6 inch desk fan at the top blowing over the lights.
• double stacked floor computer fan.
• hanging computer fan blowing on the babies.
• got the y splitter added a big 150 watt (42 true watts) 2600 lumens at 2700k
• added a 100 watt(23 true watt) 1600 lumen 5000k

so with all that i have a 45 watt led panel.
42 watt cfl.
and a 23 watt cfl.
coming out at about 100 watts or so true light.

all the plants have started there 2nd to 3rd nodes now.

week 2 day 1 update.

keepin temps at a steady 80 degrees with the lights on.
around 70-75 with the lights off.
i think ill havem in the solo cups for probably around 5 more days.
then ill go to transplant into there forever homes till the choppp.
picking 1 rocklock in a 3 gallon smart pot for the tent.
(gonna veg for a month, month starts after transplant.then scrog and 12/12)
throwing the other 5 in 7 gallon smart pots and getting the outdoor season started.

also i noticed twisty leaves ive read genetics and/or lights to close(which was my first thought) buttttt its not hot when i put my hand under the light so not to sure since cfls need to be close.
suggestions?

raised up my cfls from 3 inchs away to about 5 or 6 inchs.
get alil stretch in there since there has been zero since ive had them so close

welp decided i wanted to stay away from any stretching at the moment.keep it short and stalky.
so i lowered everything down.
leaves are kinda twisty but its not hot where the leaves are so who knows.
ive read genetics for the kushberry makes it like that but not to sure witht the rocklock.
i have my 45led at around between 4 and 5 inchs
and the 2 23 watt 5000kelvin bulbs about 3 to 4 inchs
so definitely at the suggested height level. with a steady flow of fans and fresh air.

the girls are looking great minus the one runt middle rightish.
im assuming thats the seed that got germed alil too long. poor rocklock #2
gonna top all of them probably saturday gonna do some research on when the best time is,
since i usually just lst early on. from there i plan on transplanting to there forever homes atleast a week after topping.
