know any good free standing CFL bulbs/kits?

hey guys, i am currently using a hanging 250w HPS bulb and would like to suppliment the light with 1 or 2 CFLs

I have some space to the sides and figured a tall standing light would be perfect, was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a respectable site id be able to order from, thanks!

I've never seen any type of lamp stand for CFLs, on any HYDRO sites. Lowes has the 65 watt CFLS on sale now for $16.95, and are the perfect kelvins for FLOWERING. You can get the CLAMP Reflectors too, and rig them on the sides or just lay them on a cardboard box. Here is mine:

and they say you can not get coke cannned sized colas with CFLs. You can if you use enough of them.

should have said im in the uk, would rather order from a british company if possible. I will start looking for some nice CFLs I can lay beside my plants!

a quick question, how do CFLs plug in? can i buy a connection that will plug directly into the mains or do i need something else?

u can buy cfl with edison screw fittings and plug them straight into the wall with normal lamps and stuff. Or wire up a fitting to plug in by buying a hard wired fitting ( lets say with 3 sockets ) like one that will go infront of a mirror or somethign lets just say. And cut offa lead and it should have 2 wires attach those 2 wires to the fitting ( they might have a earth wire usually geen just dw about that ) and tape that bitch with electrical tape. Hit the mains and boom u got ur multiple fitting. Screw fix for cfls too 20w cfls for 1.93 not bad. few of them here and there around ur plants deffo wouldnt hurt.
