I try to wait for sex.

But most of the time I take the top as a clone befor they show sex,and let the seed plant still grow, till it shows sex.
Just curious. That's what I've been doing too as the plants from seed seem to be beanpoles with very little side branching. I'd prefer to let the plant grow out without topping it, but how are you supposed to take cuts then?? I worry about stressing the plant by topping it right before flower, or right after flip. I dunno

Yup,I do not like transplanting unsexd plants into bigger pots,so they stay in 1gal till they show sex, which gives beanpole plants, unless you top, then you got to wait longer till sex shows..and I'm with you,I do not like to cut/top anytime close to flower,or after.

So you leave them in the smaller container until they show sex, then top and transplant the gals and discard the dudes (if you have no plans for them)?

Interesting. I might try that on these new seedlings

Yes,and this is when I veg under 400mh,and my bulbs are old,I really need to get new ones, befor I toss these.
Under t5 lighting, very compact growth, nice side growth.but they only cover so much space.

Al Those are beautiful plants. Coming along quite nicely.... Great pics
Thanks brotha! I've got some Bodhi beans that are way far ahead of these gals but, I gotta say that these KOS ladies are running up behind the SSDD and ToL with endurance! They are just taking off, and I had to pinch the Bodhi's to get them how I want them. I haven't touched these Darkies at all. I wasn't planning on running them with the Bodhi come flower time but they'll be begging for it!!
