Yeah, I understand the shipping cost which I have no problem with... Didnt understand the 4.5% paypal fee... No worries, still good prices.

International sales3.9% transaction fee plus a fixed fee based on currency received
From PayPal website. So 4.5% seems legit.

Jerry was asking what reflector is popular.
I suggested Jerry to stock F13838_ANGELINA and its connector for 3070, 3590 and vero 29.
He liked the idea so it might be available soon.
Me likey!

Bonjour
This is a very good idea...I don't want big heavy lenses...my hs are heavy enough!
But if he could sell some smaller cob it will increase the number of his customers!
If enough people ask him maybe he should think about it!?!
Have a great day ★

China post is no problem if you are agree to afford the risk, I cann't promise the shipping time and when you can get, the leds is high value, if lost, the loss is much higher than the shipping cost.
what do you think?

Get an agent in Hong Kong. Have all parts shipped there first, than dispatched overseas. Jerry ships to china for free, as do most retailer over there.

Just ordered 4x CXB3590, 3000k, CB and 4x Ideal holders. Was originally quoted $45.5 per chip, but the invoice was $46.5 ea. Plus $9.83 paypal fees (4.5% of total).

Opted to get a driver state-side to avoid the $45 DHL charge. Had to do a bit of lookin for a 1400B in stock. But, I found one for $60.3 + s/h from TRC Electronics.

As of 11/09/2015 he said the 3500s would be available in 2 weeks. They also have a stock of 5000k chips currently.

If someone state-side stocked the chips, I'd likely have paid a premium (not $68+ per chip like I saw on digi or mouser)..but the availability is so poor on these top bins I chose to go this route for now..

The communication is typical broken English, a bit slow and confusing at times when going back and forth. Its not as straight forward as "add to cart" and paying like most online transactions.

I still appreciate having KB as an option and supposedly giving a deal, and those who made the option known/available.

Looking forward to building a new light! 50%+ efficiency here I come.

Jerry speaks English fine and I'm never confused communicating with him. What did he charge you for the holders or did you get them for free? Like I've posted earlier on this thread I pay the 4.5% and I buy way more Cobs than you lol.

I dropped names and RIU. Dunno about the avatar thing.

There was no mention of CD bins when I asked about available CXB3590 options.

EDIT: CD bin is the higher bin for 3500Ks. CB is highest bin for 3000ks. At least according the the datasheet on Mouser.

Maybe I didn't really get a deal after all.

Customers rommended from old customers will have a discount, pls check the price for you as below:

CREE CXB3590, 3000K CB 36V: $45.5usd/pcs
Ideal holder 50-2303CR: $2.8usd/pcs.
MW driver HLG-185H-C: $53.5usd/pcs, which model do you need?

Shipping cost is $45usd by DHL.
