No- actually just turned on lights and watered them. Leaves have extra blades growing out of center of leaf and the larger blades below/between those droop- weird plant but definately not over watered. I'll take more in a bit after they absorb the water but honestly- even the droopy leaves and smaller branches are "stiff" and not weak like they appear. I believe they are females but I don't count my ducks until I see hairs.

ahh gotcha. yeah that would account for the droopiness lol. like i said they look pretty good. if they were just bagseed they should all be female. the issue you'll have to watch out for is hermies. you'll want to keep a close eye on them for pollen sacs(true hermie) and nanners which can be brought out by genetics or stress. nanners look like little yellow bananas growing directly out of the flowers whereas the pollen sacs will be at the nodes.

has anyone tried the king 900 watt or King 1200watt led lights they sell on Amazon woundering if they are worth the money I'm thinking of switching from hid set up to led and was woundering if any one had input on this
Im researching led as well. Did uou know that there is an area at riu devoted to theze questions?
https://www.rollitup.org/t/if-you-are-new-to-led-and-want-help-choosing-what-to-buy-post-here.633304/

From what ive read the consensus seems to be its better to stick with hid unless you can afford best quality LED or DIY. There are a few guys in tbe led section who are building latest tech lights for sale. Also there is complete info and sources if you want to build your own.

The best led growers are getting 1.5 gpw some get over 2gpw. The best led lights seem to crush all HID but they cost much more.

What led to this was many many discussions on pruning and it seem so controversial and I already am a pretty heavy pruner anyway so I thought well why not just do it in one of my tents what worse that can happen I can tell you my top colas are long and very thick and dense the lower ones are bigger than normal and more dense but on flip side they nute burn a lot easier and require a lot more attention than my plants usually do but so far so good we are soon to find out the only fan leaves I left when I pruned was the ones on very top but like I said this was a complete experiment I like challenges lol

I'm using 2 450's by king tm from amazon.
- they surely do veg like a beast! such small space between nodes.

hmm. Those plants look really nice! I am looking at switching from my HPS sodium to somethng more energy efficient, but mainly because of heat issues. My wife thinks the house needs to be 80 degrees, and the room i have to use is the hottest room in the house.

I have been running mainly Autos here recently, you think two of the 600w lights would be enough for a 4x2x5 tent?

yes I have 2 450's in a 4x2x5.5 - jmcdaniel
and yes jm two of the 600's would be more than enough. (I trim a little to open up the middle of the plant and, for air flow)

Good because in my old house I had my tents in the basement, it was nice and cool there. But now my hps is running too hot.

With the King tm Led panels, you wont actually need extra fans for cooling.
I use clip fans in my tent for air circulation and I have packed 3 big ones in there and to prevent mold during flowering. (also a little trimming of the middle)
They run so cool, with my fans on in the tent, I had one of my plants stretch and I cam home from work to a top cola pushing against the light.
(I panicked and ran to Home Depot and got s-clips and chain) The light is so cool it did nothing to my cola, now keeping it a few inches away from the canopy (I don't condone this)

I honestly don't think you will have a heat issue with these lights jm.
my temps are between 64-72 but my room get cool at night so I even turn the heat on in here.
I think it'd have to at least be over 80 something in the room and with no fan (in tent) for the temp in the tent to start rising.
1 or 2 little clip fans and no worries what so ever.

My two cents, just by looking- I'd say longer than the 13th. Over all, the plant doesn't look ... Done. What do the trichomes look like? Great looking plants there, btw.

Two younger plants I showed pics of turned out to both be males. Don't know what I am doing wrong but everything Im growing is turning out male. I shouldn't be as frustrated as I am, but I am.

Sometimes regular seed come out that way when I start a tent I seed 28 buckets usually wind up with 11-14 females on other note tric are already about 40% milky I'm thinking prob an extra week I see how they look on the 13 cuz that is exactly 9 weeks

Honestly dude your plants look like hell, all stem and no buds.im not trying to be mean because ive been there.I struggled with those cheap chinese burples when I first changed to leds, before cobs became more mainstream.Morale of the story, most of these cheap chinese (tm...lol) lights will grow plants IF they dont burn your house down first that is....but there are much better options availiable these days.Take a quick cruise around the led forum.

Mine are under bad ass hid system there all stem you would know why if you started reading the hole thread you would know this tent was an experiment grow and was done to prove a point that it could be done take time to read everything before you post comments it really makes you look a fool when you don't know the conversation and just start talking

Whats there to know?you "pruned" your plants and stuck them under a cheap chinese burple at some point and it screwed up your plants bad. Ok my mistake carry on with the experiment.Id say it was a success.
