Very well said.

Started two clones from mother I grew outdoors last summer. Decent grow even with lots of mistakes until I found someone to help sort good advice from the BS. Just switched from T-12 with supplemental CFL and just started running Kind LED K5 1000 a week ago today with huge improvements over tube lighting. Also struggled with cold issues (basement grow in New England), which stunted growth briefly and now using portable oil heater with improvement. Temps stay at 68 -70 at night and 73-75 during day, now. Room was sealed heavily (original intent by previous owner was to build wine storage room so most of work was done - nice selling point as well) and then painted with dead flat white paint top to bottom. Security locking door installed, as well as an inest, which alerts your smartphone if there is fire or rising carbon monoxide levels- I highly recommend it.

The two clones are 3 weeks into flower. Just noticed trichome development this morning and it's already greater than the outdoor plant- they are definitely growing different in their different environments. Pistil tips are turning bright orange and I'm slightly concerned the light may be too strong? But then again, even the bud development is way different indoors and they have been growing completely screwey since they rooted- one was taken at one week of flowering and the other was taken at three. Outdoors, she flowered for
13-14 weeks if I remember correctly - maybe the stress of my mistakes caused the delay in finishing- trust me, there were a lot of mistakes.... I even clothes lined the mother on a tree branch while I was running with the pot ( she was about 7 feet) headed for the woods after I smoked too much, got paranoid and thought the plane that had flewn over head was on to my pathetic one-plant operation; she was fine. The two smaller plants were started from seed and are 4 weeks tomorrow. These are not from feminized seeds (bag seed that was great!) and I'm still waiting for sex. All in all I'm happy with what is being produced. Just trying to sort out my issues with growing inconsistencies while learning the basics and beyond so that in one or two grows from now, I'll be self reliant and growing awesome quality bud.

Still waiting on a couple items (to get pails off floor, considering two more 600 watt leds for each end of room with some overlap, and finally purchase seeds instead of using bag seed). Room is around 11X7.5 so I feel like I could be using space better. Electrical looks a bit squirrely right now but the light is being safely run to outside separate circuit breaker (remember - wine room). Im waiting on electrician to complete the proper wiring set up but because I am relying on family to help, I have to wait a bit longer as he is out straight with higher paying work.
Until then ...

And the above should say the plants are currently 4 weeks in- just copied from my original. Second grow, first indoors.

Haha I did the same thing once. But I had a tent that was loaded with about 12 5 month old ladies and a buddy of mine brought over some smoke. I got a little too far gone and was convinced that the was helicopter coming for me so I took them outside and piled them up and thankfully my buddy caught me as I was grabbing the gas can from the shed before I was able to torch them.

I was so far gone that you could have convinced me aliens were comimg.

I've been there. I've concocted some pretty amazing scenarios, too, and have nearly ended the crop out of fear and stupidity. There she be a thread for that- kind of like the Darwin of cannabis. Picture quality kind of stinks - taking pics with LED is difficult.

Looks fantastic! Strain? Im still messing with bag/donated seed. Still too new and not confident enough to buy seed - and like I said, working out the inconsistancies on free seeds rather than 13.00 seeds makes the initial costs (lights, heater, etc) more bearable.

Two weeks from sprout! Hmmm I think I'm doing something wrong. I have six seedlings- same as yours, two weeks and the have three leaf sets but are wicked leggy. Maybe light stretch? This is a big problem for me--- bag seed and no idea of what I should be "expecting". All of your plants looks fantastic. How big is your growing space? Do you grow outdoors?

On my sprouts I start them in a 5x3 closet I made it has 6 300 watt 6400k CFL lights and 12 100 watt 6400k CFL bulbs in top of closet about 41/2 feet above plants lights are mounted on ceiling of closet I found it works best for me tried many different ways and lifting lowering lights then I made this closet regardless what any one says it works for me I beg in this closet for 4 to 5 weeks then move to tent with 600 hps set up for flowering

I buy from herbie's head shop. Best in the business as far as I'm concerned. Every seed I have bought has been exactly what I ordered.

If you follow the link in my signature you can see my latest buy.

So again- two plants from bag seed. Planted 12/26 and sprouted 1/1. Put them into 12/12 with two clones that are flowering. Still waiting to positively identify sex. They look like something you would see in a bog - almost "swampy" looking if that makes sense. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg I don't have separate grow areas to support vegging and flowering so I screw around a lot with household lighting during the night hours to support the vegging time so the faster I can get them to the flowering stage the better. But I'm realizing they like to do this more slowly when they are not showing signs that they are already headed for flowering on their own schedule. ADD- sometimes it can be a great motivator and often times a huge barrier. I can be so passionate and so damn impatient at the same time. Drives my husband insane.

Anyhow, six seedlings are under 300w cfl. I will top soil when I transplant- hesitant to do it because like I said, that will be six more pots to move about a house at night to find light the can be exposed to. They receive two hours of dark at night.

I have another room in my house that is 15X15X7 that I'm eyeing for near future. I'm waiting to see what I can pull off outdoors this summer with monster/guerilla cropping/growing. I will need to save up before attempting to tackle another room.

for vegging pick up a t5 ho. low heat and work great for vegging and you can keep them very close to the plants. not too expensive either. can get them at grow shops or even the local hardware store. part of the reason hid's work well for me is i am in MI and basement stays pretty cool so no need for for supplemental heat during the winter. as for the legginess most definitely due to light stretch. cfl's are fine for seedlings but must be kept close to the plants. also, you want to use the 5000k or higher cool bulbs for vegging not the 2300k or 3000k warm bulbs as that will reduce stretching as well. not sure what cfl's you are using but i would check. cooler air temps in veg will also stunt growth.

the 2 plants in the top pic dont look bad at all. maybe a bit too much N as they look to be showing a bit of "claw" but not bad. have you let them dry out a bit between waterings? looks like they may be a bit droopy due to overwatering. overall though they look like good stong plants. keep it up!
