Nah I can raise the light a bit and also keep them super low with a scrog. I not worried at all. You may be confusing the other cool tube with my carbon filter. There's only one tube in there. Im will however be adding a 125w cfl for veg soon.

i noticed in you DIY on the 6th pic, in the lower end of your cab you have something that looks similar to a cool tube with ducts running threw each side. thats what I'm talking about. I'm building one soon and just trying to narrow down and get the price locked before i buy everything, would be a waste if it got expensive since numerous places have ok builds for 500 or around there.

GUESS WHOS BACK, BACK AGAIN. KEIF IS BACK, GRO-OW-IN.

Took out the HPS while I wait for my MH to come... I shoved my 125w CFL inside the cool tube on one end and it looks a bit ghetto for my tastes but it works now. 4 have popped and came above the surface. The strain is from my homie in Norway.. It is called "hot mix" because of a bunch of grade a seeds got mixed up on the table so I am going to see what I find.

Goal this time is a half pound. I am going to be either running a 250w hps or 2 side by side 150w cool tubes..

WOOP!

Alright guys, I have a few questions for you to ponder-

I want a bigger light so I can get some denser buds... I was thinking about going to a 250w HPS but then I started thinking about either running another cool tube setup next to my original so I would have dual 150w cool tubes OR I can run my 125w CFL (one of those huge ones) in the back or on the side of my exsisting 150w.

Do you think the size of the light is relative to the denseness of the buds or do you think it could have been the strain? I always figured HID would offer denser nugs over my CFL. I have about 40-45000 LUX at the top of the plants and this is with the 125w CFL, the 150w HPS is even higher...

Any info helps, basically I am trying to get those big swollen calyxes like at the medical clubs, I know those are all 1000 watt plant. Sorry, these edibles have me rambling..

Oh, it could be that I didnt let my last plant go that last couple of weeks since I had to chop her early due to her falling over.. Either way, I want more or a new light..

Are you going to use a screen to surround the cool-tube? Should be hell of a harvest, 40K+ lux at the tops :0,

what is the Cubic footage, your setup might have the same intensity in that smaller space as a club 1000 watter.....food for thought!
