Sick operation man. I used to use the same strong boxes for my aero/rdwc set up in the past. I still have them now and they hold my hoses, cords, and tool belts at work. lol. They hold up great.

As to the the plants in the 5 gal buckets yes that was what i was referring to and I got ya. Do you guys just water and let them drain on the floor or do yo not keep any drainage holes in the buckets for dirt ?

I have a 13000 btu stand alone I bought for my apartment I have been using for the room now. I have a second bigger window unit as well for my place in the summer if i don't get the chance to buy another till then. I vent the flower tent into the room and keep the room cooled. I do need to get a booster fan as a intake but I've been trying not to spend money at the moment. lol.
The buckets drain on the floor never had a problem with it so far humidity stays down

My next major change will be the addition of u much bigger main res and float to my controller bucket when these girls get growing they eat alot! I think im gonna have to be more equipped and ready for summer when it gets here with the heat tho! Good stuff man

Yes deff took about a year of thinking and then six months of running the hydro side of things to figure out what I needed and what works best in that room... and this is the 3rd flowering room I've built..and id say its about 90% legit..

The one thing I can tell ya depending on how u set you float up and your pump returns to your control but I would make sure that you either T off the return inside the bucket or set your float up a certain way I didn't pay attention to it right away and my pump will spit water at the float and push it down while its full and let extra water in..I haven't t'd mine off yet but its still very useful cuz at the barrel I threw a flow valve in so I can use it for switching the water out and topping off while I'm down there.

Its a homemade grow cabinet i put together it includes a Cloning, Vegging and Flowering Chamber all hooked up to a ac unit i had lying around check out my albums as for the tig welding?¿ nope just an ol furnace duct bent open n modified to hold 2 75watt hps lights. The leds were custom made by a friend using good ol screws and a little solder.

Yea man gdp isnt gonna stretch much at all mine maybe doubled in size its a great plant for hydro.
thats good to know im glad they'll double which is usually the standard for most plants on the indy side of things..I prefer to run indy bushes over saty bean poles myself I just hate the 2-3x strech of a satty plant I'd rather have a 3-4ft tall bush thats about 3ft wide..my pre 98' is exactly what i've been looking for in a plant to breed with its got the thick structure so it can hold itself up..big fans to produce alot of energy and a very bushy way of growing with very little training..so it'll produce the plant I want for my system without having to work it alot and stress it out with topping or LST..I do however do a form of super cropping but minus the bending of the branches what ill do is just twist the stalk in my hands lightly but enough to feel the inside of the stalk/branch snap it wont bend over if you do this correctly, I'll do this 4-5 times per branch once between each node if possible sometimes the branch will just twist and nothing happens I've found that it works best with stems that are more woody and firm then newly formed areas towards the top but to a point near the bottom..its a happy medium..

this will make the stem rebuild the inside and it will come back 2x as strong and also promote the branches to grow as well..so its super cropping in a sense without the major bend in the brach thus less stress and builds branches that can hold the weight of larger buds..this tweak makes a huge difference indoors for plants that dont have to deal with windy days and dont grow as hard as they would outside..and doing this to young plants outdoors will help them in the event of a good wind storm as well..(used to be a huge outdoor grower)

***update***
day 3 12/12

so not too much to see other than strech and I've started to stake up the ladies and for lack energy I jusst take regular bamboo stakes and fish them into the hydroton between the net pots the plants are in from veg and the actual bucket lid net pot and because of my doubled up pots it'll hold them tight...the only other way to put stakes on the pots and still be able to remove the lid is to use like 1/2''-1'' pvc pipe and attach it to the lid itself by drilling holes in the lid and using sleves on the top and underside to hold it in place..I really havent done this b/c its like 150$ for everything i need to do it and I dont wanna drill 3/4 inch holes in my lids..

DEFOLIATION!!!

this is one of the biggest misconceptions out there for newb's and it stems from back in the day when there wasnt a good deal of scientific info on cultivating weed..even to this day the old skool growers i know that are in there 50's that grew back in the day try to live by this and like to dismiss what i say cuz I'm younder than them..back in the day outdoor growing was the best way to grow and I think that removinf all of the fan leaves and some lower branches really didnt effect the plant negitivly like it does indoors..and also by accident they were lolly popping thier plants along with removing fan leaves and they seen the bennifit of lolly popping and thought that removing the fans was the cause of the bigger yeild..In no way shape or form does removing all of your larger fan leaves make your buds grow larger yes light will penetrate further into your canopy but without the fan leaves whats going to produce the energy your plant needs to promote large dense colas?

so heres a run down of what I do to my plants in regaurds to defoliation ..I'll remove the small branches from the lower half of the plant depending on size of the branch my main determination of whether i remove the branch or not is if it reaches the side or top of the canopy if its tucked in the middle of the plant and wont strech out to get full light it's gone along with any branches on the outside of the plant that turn downwards or back into the center of the plant..also anything halfway down the branch from the top will be removed towards the main stalk most of these braches in my experince will produce very wispy buds and they will eat up the plants energy where the plant could be using that to produce bigger more dense buds up top or closer to the top..you may lose a few grams per plant but you'll make up for it in grade AAA buds instead of B class shit you'll (or atleast I) turn into hash while making those bigger buds up top suffer a little loss of energy..

snapping the stems is a good way to make them far stronger in about a week or so i'll be able to show where I snapped them and why ..right now you wont be able to see it but a lil bit from now there should be a good knot in the stem it'll be almost double the size four or five of them in each stem will make for a sturdy plant..i know i can see it on a few plants already but my droids fucking camera app has decided not to open today it wont work at all its complete bullshit...did everything i could to try to fix it even did the factory reset..fucking blows nuts

wish I could throw pics atm..my pre 98' has become the top plant in my garden by far..It's 100% the most healthy hardy plant I think I've grown to date..only other plant I really liked this much growing wise was my Great White Shark from greenhouse..that plant was a monster and was also an amazing outdoor plant as well I kept a mother of that GWS pheno I had for almost 3 years I got lucky and snagged a purple clone off of a plant that somehow had one branch that grew jet purple buds from the start only half of the plant was purple and the clone produced 100% purp buds without any temp change you can actually see it in the update video about halfway thru it..the pre 98' tho does turn purple a little bit and for a bubba is probably the best pheno I could have gotten its a super producer way above average for bubba and just loves to grow even if you beat the hell out of it it'll still stand tall, this plant will be in my garden for quite some time i'll be using one of the 15 clones in the cloner for a mom the first one to root actually will be my go to girl

Factory wiped the phone twice and then did a "hard reboot" phones working good again I hate the fact that a year into having a new smart phone they go to shit..I believe I've had 5 diff droids in the last 3 years lol..

Anyways shits good I'll have a pic update tomar for ya not a whole lot of changes yet just more stretch and looking like I can really bump nutes up 850-900ppm up to 1000ppm
Rt 76°f
Ph 6.3 gonna drop it tomar
Wt 74°f its been 50+ degrees outside crazy warm I've been adding frozen 2 liters to the control

Also switched the exhaust fan onto a separate 120v circuit w inline timer and run it 30 min before lights on and an extra hour after lights off to keep the temps down the rest of the basement is probably 65-68f all day. I also have a 6 inch exhaust I believe I'll hook up tomar to bring cold air in
