excellect resin production ! what are your targets besides low height , dense structure and med flower time???
medium height is actually what I am aiming for, I always favor shorter plants because they seem to pack on the resin faster but they dont grow as vigorously and im trying to make this an Ideal indoor/outdoor vegetative skeleton strain for crossing looser bred lines that I like into it for stabilization.

Resin coverage (density, type, amount)
Height (sativa hybrid- tall but not too tall)
Smell/Flavor (loud, cedar, vanilla, lemon)
Vigor (super vigorous)
Bud density (still variable, fluffy- rock hard)
Color (green-light purps)

thats what ive got for now and im just working on the bud density (kaiju #10 F2 [rock hard, lemon-vanilla, frosty] will hopefully fix these traits) and just overall limiting phenotypic variation at this point I think ive found what I wanted and am on the right track.

Good selection. Looks like you're getting narrow to lock the trait soon ?
Yeah at this point its just getting rid of all that I dont want and keeping as many of my stellar females as possible, so maybe 1 or 2 more generations and itll pretty much be ready for crossing to other IBL's

Good stuff bf80255...bongsmilie

Can't believe I've missed what you've got going here. I've lots to learn and I'm subscribed. :joint:
thanks El camino! :D
if you have any questions feel free to ask.

I dont know for sure where they are coming from, maybe pollen from one of my auto males, pollen from the last run in this tent or worse an INTERSEX plant!!!but I keep seeing seeds on buds and dying back orange pistils! I havent been able to spot any hermis but maybe I havent been scanning well enough, either way this week Ill be on the lookout for the bastard responsible for ruining my sensi.

This generation will continue for the remainder of March then I will make my selections (top 10% or about 5) and have to reveg them for a while until there ready to grow out in bigger pots and run them oncve more to be sure were clear of intersex traits, test how they grow under different stresses ( topping, reveg, hot + cold, etc) and of course produce seed for my F5 generation.

i find hard to find intersex under the lower popcorn buds but you seem to have very few...

FOUND IT!!!!
little fucker has a big fat wad of male flowers right on top of the apical bud

and this 1 intersex plant is the reason I now have to reveg everyone who made the cut and try again for F5 seeds :)
luckily ive kept 4 nice males vegging so after a few weeks reveg we should be back on track

rigged up some make shift netting to corral the plants that had begun falling over from the weight of buds at the beginning of this week.

here are some pics of the 6 or so keepers as well ( doesnt look impressive but I assure you these are great plants)
selected for bag appeal (density, trichomes, smell) since the first 3 rounds of culling (seedling, veg, mid flower) dealt with vegetative traits, I already know theyve got that in the bag so I want to start eliminating pooplry flowering specimins at this point.

here are a few shots of the plants that didnt make the grade, about 1/2 of the population has these long, slender, foxy sativa buds that look big and pretty while growing but shrivel up to shit when you dry them and are really hard to sell because the folks round my parts like weed to be "hardball" and are more into look, smell and taste than effect.

here are some keepers
still deciding what to do because ive got a cup in here that im growing for a competition that needs to finish up on 12/12 but these girls are ready to reveg and prep for the outdoor season so I can collect some seeds!

ill probably end up bringing in a couple cfls in about 2 or 3 weeks and just running those 24/7 till I get some vegging going then let them get huge outside.005.jpg 003.jpg 001.jpg
