I just cut the buds off that were ready for harvest, trimmed them down, then hung them upside down. I have good air flow but not directly on the buds. Going to let the other buds on the bottom ripen up a bit before I harvest them.

It's been about 4 years since i've done this, and if i remember right, it was super aggravating trying to trim my girls when they were done drying for 10-14 days.
I also prefer to wet trim. I go off the stem onto racks just to save one more step. And I take a top at a time so nothing gets soggy haha. Trimming is a pain

I had a buddy claim that 1 moth created caterpillars in his room and they ate close to a qp. Considering I'm about to cut down 30ps this week and I got high last night and saw 3 moths in my Garden, yeah I was curious about it. Keep hating

ps?? is that pounds?..... so you went from ten pounds w your 4k to thirty?

I been fighting off 2 moths and now another one joined the party. I am in week 8. Should I be worried about caterpilars or any of that?

Let's argue some more boys! Lol, men will be men won't they, when all this girl want's is some advice!
During the drying process cannabis releases chlorophyll . If you don't let it dry long enough you will get a funky ammonia smell and lose potency, it won't burn evenly, and it will get worse and worse with storage time. If you dry your nug properly it will store great for a long period of time. If you over dry your nug a tiny bit,
You risk getting some shake. But you can still fix this.. Put in a turkey bag with a bovida pack or a damp papertowel on a paper plate. Half a day later it is good as new. You can always fix nug thats too dry. Once you jar something, if it's too moist,
You are fucked. i have ruined nug by doing this. if you need to, check the humidity on the bag and make sure it's bwtween 50-60.
This is the information I was trying to give . Not trying to step on any closet growing toes

I have been watching a lot of emerald cup talks on the ol youtube and i forgot which grower said this but he would dip his bud in a bucket of water to rid of any particles thay could. be harmful then he let dry only dipping as in and out then dryiing many said it'll damage the cbd components and most growers disagreed but that's a wayy to think outside the box gotta give em props for at least trying this

Jorge has a thread on his forum (prolly in the new book as well) about dippin em in H2O2 (peroxide) to clean em. IMO only needed for outdoor grows

If my girls are drying out a bit too fast, could I help them dry slower if I just go ahead and jar it up, and check it more often to help it dry slower?
