Just saying Hello

Just wanted to introduce myself to all my fellow Mainers.
I'm located in s. Maine and have had my card for the last 6 months+ I'm also a caregiver for 2 patients at the moment. I've got a few grows under my belt at this point so looking forward to helping when I can. Also looking to learn anything that will help me get to the next level. Cause nobody is at the top of their game. Always room for improvement.

What strains do you grow?

Right now I got a few things going.
I got some beans a while back so I'm running those right now.
I got 4 tangerine dreams
1 blue mistic by royal queen
1 ice by royal queen
1 special queen #1 also by royal queen
The royals were all freebies when I got the dream.
Plus I'm running 2 strains that I've had for um? A little while
One is supposed to be Williams Wonder ( been around for at least 20+ yrs)
The other is supposed to be Jack Herer ( been around 8+yrs)
I just popped a Pineapple Express, Purple Haze, auto AK (all freebies when I got something special )
Way to many in the queue to list em all.

Welcome Diezeldawg, I just ordered some tangerine dream and I'm really lookin forward to that. What's your experience so far with this strain? Are you in soil or hydro? Organic or non-organic? What type of light wattage and in what space?

This is my first time with the dream seems a little difficult compared to the 2 strains I've been running for a while.
That being said I had all 10 popped. 2 were funky right off the bat so I gave them to a buddy. I just straight up trashed one for not looking very good. I really don't have the patients to deal with to much bs. From what I can tell the plants I have left are definitely two different phenoms. I got the indica and the ones I gave to a buddy at least one is the sativa double the size of the rest.
I'm in soil using gh flora with some extras. Promix BX. I'm in a 10x10 room with 4 1000w hps with 4ft parabolic shields and a 15000 btu a/c.
I will say they are kinda stinky right now 2 of them are 6 weeks into flower right now.
Ive got cuttings going from all the plants that are growing now so I will have the best outta the 9 plants that are going.

Good luck finding a pheno that finishes. I've heard stories of TD going 14+ weeks with barely a hint of cloudy trichs - and producing airy fluff buds to boot. OTOH, i've heard that the phenos that do finish are supposed to be pretty awesome.

My nuggets are solid already at 6 weeks. I don't think I'll have that much of a problem.
They seem to be just about on schedule for 70 days we will see. (The first two I put into flower anyway.)
If not oh well I'm in no hurry.

You're gonna like that Pineapple Express. I got one as a freebie too, and it turned out great. Really big, dense bud, really sticky and smelly too. Good yield.

I agree on the Pineapple Express. I've grown out a couple and have one in flower right now. They always look great, yield great, and smoke great. I'm surprised it doesn't get more attention. I've never had any that had a taste or smell that made me think pineapple in any way though.

Thanks for all the love. I'm really hoping that the P.Express comes out to be something special. If not I'll pick up some pineapple chunk. I've read a lot of good things about it.
The good thing is that I always take babies from everything I got so I'll have it if it's really good.
Right now my Blue mistic also a freebie is rocking my room. It's in there with a Ice,and Special queen #1 all the same age.
I got 2 TD about 55 days into flower. These 2 seem to be the same phenom. And 2 more about 30 days in. One of these seems a little more indica than the rest. I gave the sativa phenom to my buddy. He also take babies so I got it all covered.
Im just trying to get a good selection for my patients and myself.

Sounds great Diezel. I admire the aspect where you say that you want to get a good selection, both for you as well as your patients. I know that they must like that, as I do with my caregiver. Always something new to change the palette when it comes to smoke
