Just N toxicity?

Tried lowered ppm once 24h ago, now its at about 300ppm down from ~400ppm. Roots are white and fine. Its a Black Cream auto in preflower in dwc bucket.

Should i try lower it even more or wait? She grows fine, like her friendly neighbour lady Amnesia Haze, also auto at higher ppm. Using Ionic hydro nutes.

Them leaves won't real straighten out so watch the new growth for changes.. the "claw" happens for couple different reasons. Sometimes it's from to much nitrogen other times it's a transpiration issue.. to high of humidity or lack of oxygen to the root zone.. " over watering" n your case it appears to be caused by tomuch nitrogen.. the really dark look to the leaves

Thanks for the quick response bud.

The humidity is 45-50%. Air in root zone is plenty. Its the leaves clawing plus tacoing but like inwards..

So just watch new growth and decrease ppm even more if no change?

Your humidity levels are good so yeah.. cut back abit and watch the new growth..
How's your pH levels in the dwc?
Ok, ill do that thanks.
I set it at 5.8 and let it swing over few days.

Do you have cal mag in your water or nutes? What are your rez temps? Are your bubblers clean and bubbling hard?
Tap water so it has Ca, i added AN CaMg+ before this res-change because some spotted leafs. No additional camg in current res. I dont check temps as i have 30lpm air to each bucket, never had any root diseases yet. I dont clean the air stones regularly but theres alot of bubbles.

You might want to check your rez temp, warm water will not hold O2 very well.

What's the ppms of your tap water, before you add anything?
How much calmag, in comparison to base nutrients, are you supplementing?
What's the ppms of your feed?

No difference in new growth after 24h, I will check again today.

Heres whats in the current res.
OK. Cheers.
NPK is close enough to 3.5 - 0.5 - 5.5
There are no sulphates.
There is no magnesium.
Barely any phosphorus / phosphates.
The NPK isn't very high at all either.
Does it have a recommended dosage?

There's really barely any phosphorus to NK in those nutrients. Let alone no magnesium, or sulphur.

I'd be tempted to flush it clean. Then use a more balanced npk. Maybe give a tiny bit of epsom salt. That'll give magnesium sulfate.
But that's just my opinion.

I think like the others have said, too much nitrogen looks to be a problem too.

I anything they need higher ppm and some extra P, Mg and S. You can fix the Mg and S with Epsom Salts and if you have the Bloom part of those nutes you should use a bit to fix the low P.

Looks a bit like iron deficiency too with the yellowing starting at the petiole and working out. CalMag often has iron.

Sulfur shows some of the same yellowing when it's low too.

Here's the whole chart.

I don't think much of those nutes and it could be something in your tap water causing problems too. Should contact your water supplier for a copy of their water analysis report. Should be free and they can likely email you one like they did here for me years back. May even be on your town's website. Could be high sodium or something else causing lockouts. Never know until you see what's in the water. I use RO water only so don't have to worry about that. AN 3-part nutes too so it has everything including pH Perfect tech so I don't bother with pH testing either.

Good luck!
