Just harvested. Found spider mites. Best way to sterilize?

Just like the title says - I harvested today and found some dreaded spider mites and webbing at the top of my 2 biggest colas. I sucked them up with a shopvac, but now that I trimmed the buds what kind of bath would be best? Hydrogen peroxcide? Lemon juice/baking soda? I want to sterilize the plants the best way possible.

And just a fyi. H2o2 DOES NOT KILL MOLD. PROVEN FACT. DO NOT DRIP YOUR SHIT IN WATER. IN FACT IF YOU GOT POWDERY MILDEW YOU HAVE A PROBLEM YOU NEED TO FIX. NOT JUST BANDAID IT BY SOAKING YOIR HERB. HE'S SUCH AN IDIOT. I DON'T CARE HOW MANY BOOKS HE'S SOLD. THAT IS BAD INFO.

You got the majority off with the vac.. I would just let it dry.. You can dip whole buds in ice water to kill them off..
But you're already past that..

Washing buds is not bad info. The mildew just floats to the top. If you have never done it then no opinion should be offered. It in no way, shape, or form helps mold to grow. I know folks that do it with their outdoor without fail and am always surprised at all of the various insect carcasses and what not that are released during the soak.

I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. Spider mites suck, but god only knows how many bugs and pesticides and other chemicals I've smoked over the years. Because I harvested early it was only 3oz, but it was my smallest plant.

yea it does. also sterilizes.

To kill mold: Pour 3% concentration hydrogen peroxide into a spray bottle. Saturate the moldy surface completely and leave it to sit for ten minutes.

Works well to. And stop shouting it just makes you look silly.

But less stupid than not killing any mold or PM spores on your bud before it goes into the drying room...or smoking spider mites...
I am not trying to throw gas onthe fire but the guys at Big Time Exterminator claim you can spray up to harvest their product for russet mites and spider mites plus PM.
https://bigtimezyme.com/html/bigtimeexterminator.html

I am not trying to pimp their product but one of the key ingredients is yeast enzymes. I am not sure how it kills bugs and pm but they seem to be pretty solid guys. I know skim milk can be used for pm and Iam not sure if enzymes in milk eat PM/

Cannabis, It could help you with your anger issues, if you have any.

I have washed my cut flowers before. I grow outside.

I have flies and gnats and neem oil and compost tea and powdery mildew and spiders and chiggers and exoskeletons all over everything. When I wash, all those friends float to the top and wash away. Then I cure the same.

Peace

Eh, I would have just dried and cured like normal and smoked the shit out of those little fuckers. bastards deserve the worst death possible. Burn em up, You won't notice any difference in taste. Peroxide is proven to fight powdery mildew, mold. It's all over google with credible sources. I used it on my plants during veg. Milk also, I read it was good for the plants immune system I don't know if it did any good or not but it certainly didn't do any harm.

I also read milk is good for soft bodied insects as far as killing them. I mixed milk, peroxide, and water all together. Sprayed my plants and the soil when I started seeing a lot of black fungus gnats and sure enough it got rid of them. I gave them a few doses during their veg cycle and I have had my grow op outside the whole time and have yet to have a pest problem and that is all I used. To be more specific about my own experience.

Supposedly 1 asprin dissolved is a gallon of water for foilar spray gets the plants to set off their immune system for bugs and other things. Asprin has salylic acid (SA). SA is also used to treat acne.

Hello all :)
I have some 3 % food grade hydrogen peroxide - any suggestions on application? Few weeks into flower- want to get ahead an avoid any bugs and fungi spoiling my babes - what with the warm wet and humid summer we're having here so far.
Dilutions? Application: on leaves? flowers? On soil top ?

Best regards, look forward to hearing from :peace:
