DAY F7

The larger plant has grown 1.5" in the last two days to 13" tall.

The smaller one is growing but slower and bushier, I think.

Added one gallon RO water to both buckets, with nutes and pH balanced.

I also added one more 6" air stone to each bucket, for a total of three per each.

pH 6.0
water temp 19c.
PPM is unknown. I'm just using the mix on the bottles.
Still using Cal/Mag and Epsom salt.

There are some lower, older leaves which have some yellowing and a few spots.

The pH had drifted down to around 5.3...

Rebalanced the pH to 6.0. The plant looks good this morning. pH is still 6.0

In my Hydro Setup, I let them sit in plain phd water for about half a day every other day. Have extra buckets to transition easily. I also leave my top bucket sitting on my lower bucket and lifted for about 10 minutes everyday for fresh air. With Gh WaterFarm Bucket ) Doing all that helps with nute burn and avoiding roots drenched in nutes a whole week. Been doing Hydro for about 2 years, always resorted to that and I've avoided nutrient deficiencies, well, major deficiencies.
Thought it might help you with yellow leaves, which could be a sign of plenty things.
What nutrients do you use?

If you are in a Hydro Shop anytime soon, ask to smell Sour Dee, by Cutting Edge Solutions. It smells like Sour Apple. Super Good Candy scent. Its a sweetener I've been using this year. I finished my last harvest with it. Provides silica too. Great source for it. I've heard good things about Diamond Nectar. Have you seen their 45 Dollar Nutrient kit? I use GH Flora as well brother. Seems easy to grow with right? I just tried it last harvest and really liked it, so might as well finish the bottles this run.

Ever try floralicious plus? I've heard good things and was thinking about checking it out. I'm using Advanced Nutrients 3 part with voodoo juice, cannazym and rhizotonic, and dyna gro pro Tekt silica.
I've heard the floralicious is a vitamin supplement that actually works haha, and I liie to mix and match the best products from different lines.

If memory serves, the ingredient in a lot of sweeteners is molasses. I've always used GH. The Advanced stuff is just too expensive for me.

When I first started growing, NASA was doing aero experiments so they can grow in space. They were using GH nutes, so I thought they were good enough for me.

Nitrogen is nitrogen no matter who bottles it.

The plants are growing. Even the small one has started to stretch somewhat.

The larger one is starting to drink. The water level is slowly dropping as is the pH over night. So the plant is drinking more water than it is using nutes, so the pH goes down.

The water temp was 22c, so I added Ice around the buckets.
Rebalanced the pH to 6.0

I will flush in two days, and change to the flowering formula.

Day F14

The plants have been flowering for two weeks. In post #62 you can see what they looked like when I turned out the lights. I will have current pics tonight when the light comes back on.

I flushed yesterday. Mixed nutes in a clean bucket.
Balanced the pH at 6.0
Water temp 22c, added ice around the buckets.
4 tsp Epsom salt.
30 ml Cal/Mag
60 ml Flora Bloom
40 ml Flora Micro
20 ml Flora Gro
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Say D, welcome. Your name kinda describes your whole grow room.

I got off to a really rough start, So I switched to flower early because I need to stock up ASAP.

My bad when I posted that I didn't see the other 4 pages hahah new to the site a friend pointed me here.

Yeah I thought the name would cut through a lot of redundant questions lol

a little proteck from dyna gro will lock your ph in the spot you need for a week or 2...

Dyna-Gro Pro-Tekt contains potassium and 7.8% silicon to reduce stress.

What is the thing about silicon, I keep hearing about it, but haven't used it.

How does it lock the pH?

Sodium carbonate and silica buffer ph through an ADsorbtion method much like activated carbon in your air scrubber except silica adsorbs to only molecules of much greater or much lesser PH than itself.

Absorb is taking molecules into yourself

ADsorb is bonding yourself to a molecule

Think of it like ADsorbtion takes a lot of you and creating a shell or encasement around something

Im tired and I learned this crap a long time ago so I reserve the right to read this tomorow and erase it if it's wrong or makes no sence.

Silica is a plant protein if im not mistaken too
