Journal for my first grow. 1000w, 8 plants, 3 strains Bodhi gear. Hempy. Let's do this

Hello everyone. I'd like to start off by saying thank you for all the bits of advice I've received up until this point. Everything is going smoothly so far and insight from growers here and back in the day on OG have prepared me for this phase of my life.

Ive been lurking grow forums for about seventeen years and absorbing all that I can to prepare for the time when the opportunity would come to start my first grow. I've waited until all my seedlings were somewhat along in veg to spare you guys two weeks of seedling pictures. So I'll provide you with the logistics then get on with the pictures.

Space: 4x4x7 tent

Lighting: Cool tube with1000 watt dimmable ballast.
Vegging at 600w MH then switching to 1000w HPS for flower

Nutes: Fox Farms Trio and CalMag+. Filtered water PH 5.7 - 5.9.

Medium/Method: 70/30 Coco perlite in 3 gallon Hempy buckets with perlite reservoir.

I know it was a bit early but I'm hoping to only veg for one month so I'm topping above the second node once the 4th has emerged (mostly). I FIMed one the rest will be topped for 4 colas.

Strains and plant count:

Sunshine Daydream (Bodhi) x 2
Chem 91 JB X Snow Lotus (Bodhi) x 5
Daywrecker Diesel X Longbottom Leaf (Bad Dog Genetics) X 1

Fucked up my first few seedlings (naturally) so the youngest are about a week behind the oldest.

Haha, fuck me! You will be fine, after all that effort you should have just got some fem's but fingers crossed all goes well.

The genetics I wanted are only offered in regular seeds. If they show preflowers early enough and I have too many males I'll veg the remaining girls a bit longer and pot up to 5 gallon. No biggie.

I would just like to have more girls for pheno/mother hunting

Finished potting up. Some close ups of the babies.

Upped the ballast to 1000 watts yesterday. Lights are off right now I'll post some more pics. These things are blowing up now. Just checking every three or four hours and I can notice a difference in size.

First individual picture is a 91Chem x Snow Lotus left untopped (for now). Second single plant is a sunshine daydream topped between the second and third node and the last picture is the Chem that I fimmed the third node as it was coming in.

One thing I must ask, did you drill drainage holes in the buckets?

I would put atleast 6 in the bottom of each. One in the middle five around the edge.

They are Hempy buckets. Just one hole is necessary.

Nice sounds like a good oxygen rich bucket.

Yeah it's caveman hydro. Just refill the small reservoir often so no need for aerostones.

Update coming later after lights on.
