Whats up rollers...
Just keeping some notes on here.
First breeding attempt. Had a Auto Fem'd Diesel Ryder growing out in a 3 gallon airpot under a 200w California lightworks solar, Secret Jardin Dr90 tent thats only been assembled to save on size. Been spraying it with some DIY colloidal silver and feeding all organic with mollasses etc added... She's now got he parts at about 2 weeks in. It's going over to 12/12 tonight after having been on 24/0 for the first 30 odd days. (Too lazy to set the timer.. haha). store the pollen in the fridge then --->
Next step is grow out 5 of the Auto Fem'd, pick the healthiest/ most pungent etc and pollinate to hopefully get a lot more bang for 10 for $50 seeds i originally bought. $70 all in including the $20 for DIY colloidal silver.. And still have a few original seeds if anything goes bottoms up further down the genetic line...

Keer er rural...

Picture of the treated plant showing both his (her) and her parts. Sort of intriguing. Cut one open today to investigate, too moist and green still for pollen. Got the fan switched off and the light on 12's so we'll just see how she goes...

Pollen chuck started. A few flowers have opened spontaneously, I cut into a few others to check for pollen viability, looks tangible i think so snipped a few branches, dipped in rooting hormone then into water to continue flowering. 7 days after the switch.
Few he/she parts are obvious where the CS didn't reach.

Pollen collection complete. With research i found mixed reviews on cutting with flour so I've split my pollen into two batches, cut and sans cut. See if we find any results. All folded in baggies, stored in jars with rice, then double jarred.

Things i learnt -
- Next time i won't cut the branches, leave the plant growing and just LST it over a mirror. Dealing with the jars etc sucked.
- On collection from the mirror, take the time to individually pick each flower instead of scooping all into a pile for sorting.

So in a month or so we'll dump this pollen and see how we went.

Keep er rural rollers..
