Hey jerry bud, reason i asked about the sensative roots to light, is because i see your seedlings from page 1 in a clear cup. So i thought maybe it wouldn't hurt the roots

Hey Jerry - I don't know what happened to my subscription to this thread but I lost it somehow. Anyway, I'm back now just in time for the flower show. Nice timing!

Bobo - I'm listening to your Jack Straw recommendation now. Smoking hot playing! Jack Straw is one of my favorites and I always liked Donna's contributions.

Any thoughts?
Yeah they don't stay in the plastic cups too long, so it doesn't really cause any problems. I've had seedlings in cups before where the roots turned green because there was too much light coming in horizontally from the cfl's. I used to have a bunch of cups wrapped in duct tape that I would put the clear cups in to keep the light out, but I trashed those when I moved.

So yes, light on roots is definitely bad, but it isn't a problem if there isn't too much side lighting. I just like using them because I can see immediately when clones root!

So it turns out I was a little premature in declaring the Apollo a male. It's a confirmed female, so I transplanted it today into a 3.5 gallon container. Kinda sucks, as I have already trashed the other males (which I am still confident were all males) so I just won't be doing any breeding this round, unless someone wants to loan me some pollen lol.

Still no confirmation on the Sour Hazy Jones or Sour OG, but I am pretty confident both are females. I may just keep them in the smaller pots and start flowering, or I may transplant them now and hope they are females.

I've also got some rooted clones to deal with. I'm thinking of putting a few clones into the 2 gallon pots and putting them around the edges of the tent. I'm also thinking of running the 400 mh and 600 hps together for flower.

The massive Chemporer x Candy #1 is in the center. She is going to be a beast.

Sorry Jerry, I had a champion Old School Kush pollen donor, but finally had to chop it down. I'll send you some beans of the aftermath though.

I was really being facetious about the pollen thing...though I suppose I wouldn't turn it down if someone wanted to send it to me haha.

I don't know much about pollen and how long it stays viable though. I know if you freeze it you can use it immediately after unfreezing, but that it won't keep much past that.

Well I'd be happy to send some out to you.

And hengus is right, anything put into a cold dry storage will last for years and years. It's just a rule.

So I added the 600w hps to the 400w mh and officially began flower on 2/14. I also think the triploid Sour Hazy Jones is a female, so I will be putting her into a larger 3.5 gallon white pot tonight. The Sour OG still isn't quite ready to show me, but I'm leaning toward male.

I'm going to transplant the 2 Chemporer x Candy #1 clones, 1 Chemporer x Candy #2 clone, 1 White Widow clone, and 1 Sour Diesel clone into 2 gallon white pots, veg for about a week or 2 and throw them into the tent.

Here is an in-situ shot

Both lights are running without the glass. Hope to keep that up as long as I can.

The "Princess" Chemporer x Candy #1 basking in some full spectrum goodness.

Finally, I took these three out to get watered so I figured I'd take their picture. Left is Sour Diesel, Center is Apollo 13 #1 and Right is the Princess again.

Actually I've been using straight water exclusively, except for one dose of Diamond Black and some Hygrozyme.

I'm definitely going to keep both lights up for the duration of flower.
