Little update on my chem soda cookies testers. I topped them for the second and final time now, will clean off the lowers this weekend then start bending them:hump:. Bear with me on the led pics, I will take them out for a full show case next time I do an update I promise.

#6-9 this last pic looks especially bad, tried 10 times with different filters and white balances, my phone just sucks, not that the first one was great lol.

What started out as basically 4 almost identical girls, very uniform in growth, began to distinguish themselves during the transition. Once flowering started, phenotype variation became pronounced. I have 2 that look very similar and 2 that are a bit different, but all in all the plants do share many of the same features which is definitely something you want when running a strain.

These girls have been verylow maintenance. They are not fussy eaters, and the only signs of fade are on lower leafs that are not gettibg adequatr light.

2 girls have been throwing the occasional male flower on lower buds. These are not nanners, but actual male pods. A couple have opened on me but I see no signs of pollination to any plant in the cab. I have just been plucking them as I see em. I dont mind picking off male parts hear& there as long as it doesnt get out of hand, and of course as long as the smoke is top shelf and worth it. IMO this is to be expected as almost every cookie cross I have ran has thrown a pollen sack or 2.

There have been a few deforned leafs, mostly lowers but they tend to correct themselves as they get bigger. Another deformity that is present on 2 seperate plants (& phenos) is that at the point just below the node & leaf stem, where preflowers first appear, you typically have a single calyx there which ends up swelling and ripens much faster then the rest - i am actually getting a cluster of calyxs and small buds are forming. They will be littke bonus bowl packs! Haha

I just took 2 cuts off all of my chem soda cookies tonight and put them in a cup of water in my flower tent to try and get some sex quicker. #5 is already looking like a favorite, stout with tight but profuse nodes and a nice little funk to her (hoping for a girl). But I as well had 9/10 germ, no sex so far but I have some much taller ones that are prob males just no balls yet.

Plants are doing great. Leaves are begining to start to fade a bit, but it is possible that is being caused by heat. I have the hood only 6"-8" from the top of canopy.

The 2 grils are still throwing the occasional nanner. I thoroughly inspected and i dont see any seeds forming. I plucked off 3 or 4 nanners last night and was surprised to see that they were not producing any pollen. So i am happy now that I know that they are sterile, although i will still keep an eye on em, im not worried anymore.
