Jacks Classic?

Citrus is 20 10 20 and contains magnesium. I use it in flower, only thing missing is calcium which is a problem I've ran into with a couple of strains. Now I simply ammend my soil with calcium before hand, no more problems.

Never been happier switching to Jack's.

is there a difference in your grow by using the Citrus? i'm currently using the dynamic duo and am wondering if
adding that in the mix would do some good or i could just wait until my next grow to use that.
The Citrus FeED keeps all of the leaves greener right up to harvest.
I used Jacks Dynamic Duo for many crops and it works great.
I tried the Jacks Citrus, and have been using it alone start to finish for my last several crops.
I like the simplicity, and the plants stay vigorous and green all the way thru.
The buds produced are very tasty and potent.

can someone using the jacks pro hydro/ calnit combo give me some numbers. id greatly appreciate the help

when using the 1/.66 ratio that is commonly used with this mix, how much of each need i add per gallon to obtain X ppm. i know there is a formula floating around.

ill be filling a 100 gal rez and looking to hit 7-900 ppms without wasting time experimenting in a 5 gal bucket to get the universal formula

Hey guys I'm about 4 weeks into flowering...I just gave my plant (keralaxskunk#1) a max dose of 20-20-20....I think from here on out I am going to mix the all-purpose and blossom boosters 50/50.....Can I feed the max dose of 3 tbl/gallon all the way until the end ?

And, do you guys feed every time ? Or every other time ? thnx SC

I feed my plants with every watering, but for my indoor plants I rarely use more than one teaspoon pr gal.

For my outdoor container plants I typically use only one to two teaspoons pr gal max.

I only use one tablespoon pr gal on my outdoor in-ground plants.

thnx for the info....

any idea what can happen if you feed too much ?

I suspect that you run the risk of burning your girls at the higher dosage of Jacks you mentioned.
Just watch your plants very closely for signs of too much fertilizer.
Good Luck.
thnx for the info...I wasn't sure if too many nutes can cause a nute lockout or something...

Yes I will watch her closely....Somewhere on here I read an experienced grower does not have a "nute schedule", but rather he feeds his plants based on what they are telling him....

And, in my case it appears that she is telling me she is needing more nutrients based on signs she is showing through her leaves.

3 tablespoons per gallon?! That seems like waaaaay too much.

you're right it is...that's a typo, and now I can't edit it...post must be too old or something....that's weird because I just posted it yesterday....

Anyways, a full does is actually 3 tsp or 1 tbl per gallon....

Last time I fed her a max dose of 20-20-20...this time I may switch to the 10-30-20 bloom booster....she seems to be showing signs of possible mg, mn, zinc, sulfur, and possible iron deficiencies....Basically trace elements, and the blossom booster appears to have more of them over the all purpose Jack's.

Do you have a ppm meter?
What are the ppms at 1 tablespoon a gallon.
To be honest, even a full tablespoon sounds like a lot.

actually, now that I think about it I think I made a thread about Jacks and their recommended strength being low but I never followed up on it.

hey tight...no i don't have a ppm tester....All I know is how the plant has been reacting to different amounts I have been giving it...She immediately from the beginning was showing deficiencies...It wasn't until the back to back feedings, and the max dosage that she really started showing signs of rebounding....

The local hydro guy told me to bring in my nute mix, and he would test it for me.

I'm assuming I am ok giving her the max dose of 1 tbl/gallon as long as she is not showing any signs of nute burn ?

I'm a cheap ass and even I have a ppm meter. You can pick one up for less than $10.
Otherwise you're just guessing.

i would suggest every grower have a tds meter.... its just that important and makes life so much easier :) iv had mine literally 8 years and only had to swap out batteries once lol. best 30 bucks i ever spent! i now have bluelab guardians for each rez but my handheld meter is still there to make sure that the guardian probes are working correctly.

For a simple answer: it measures how strong your nutrient mix is ( in parts per million. )
It's pretty important.

Does it measure total strength of your nute solution ? Or does it break down each individual mineral and nutrient ? IE: like how much iron, magnesium, nitrogen, etc ?

Lol...that would be the shit if it did all that for 8 bucks!
Nope, just the total solution. Read the description on amazon or anywhere on this site for that matter.
Jacks is tight though. I liked it when I was in soil.
