I grow J1, which is a select pheno from a Jack Haze cross. It's finished is 8 weeks. Sticky sweet candy goodness.
the cross sounds downright logical, but 8 weeks? that doesn't sound right. 9 weeks is the shortest time i know of for a jack herer and haze is going to take even longer. sannie's jack herer is 11 weeks i think. there's got to be some kind of 3rd strain in the cross. jack haze sounds better than haze skunk for sure though.

it'd be nice to hear how the sensi's and sannnie's jacks compare.

My Jack cut was 8 weeks. Sensi's site says 50 to 70 days. J1 is 8 weeks. The guy I got it from went 55 days. Our other buddy goes 8 weeks. It's an 8 week strain. Hey look, even this site says 8 weeks: www.degausspress.com/cpr/sg.php?id=2

I would go with sannies, who cares who started the strain it is all about who stabilized the strain. Sannie did that so he gets my vote and my money, I am happy with my sannies gear!

sensi is the real deal
Sensi WAS the "real deal", at least historically speaking, but by some accounts, Sensi lost all its original parent genetics several years ago and effectively had to rebreed many of its famous lines from scratch, including (and especially) its Jack Herer.

On the other hand, if you take a look at Sannie's Jack, that's an F7 (or maybe F8 by now) line he worked from a seed taken right out of a pack of the "old school" Sensi Jack Herer from 10+ years ago. So in a sense, Sannies "Jack" is likely more "authentic" than Sensi's!
