wots up SW, u got this bit of yellowing as well... home.grower had it, he just raised the EC to combat it (i think). Had a bit of yelowing on my cheese similar to urs, will be watching to c how it clears up.
nice growing.
yo dude! cheers man. Yeah, I'm pretty confident it will clear up. It's both strains that are doing the same thing though and my JH#5 has never shown this sort of yellowing before. Only thing that is really different is my soil, the Canna professional 'plus'. I just love the texture of the soil though, it has hardly compacted at all.

I get that kind of yellowing on my tops when i have the light about 8" away and i have found that it goes away incrementally as you raise the light and does no damage and you get the advantage of the extra growth from lowering the light.
Having said all that, that may not be why your leaves are yellowing:mrgreen::peace::joint:
Hey Nat, thanks for your thoughts man. I've just about been through every possible cause I think. Light/heat damage was one of my first thoughts actually as the yellowing was only really happening on the canopy directly under my hood. So first thing I did was raise my light a bit. But it continued to worsen, so that's when I started looking into possible defficiencies as well. It's a bit of a guessing game really, but I'm trying to at least make educated guesses!

good good friend!:blsmoke:

i'm sure you'll make it through without any real hitch.. (is that even the proper saying? heh, you know what i mean:mrgreen:)
Hope so man. Thanks! :joint:

Try flushing them through with alka seltzers in your water.
I have used in the past 1 or 2 tabs per 3litres of water, yours dont look to bad so try using only 1 tab per 3 litres of water:blsmoke:

That JH is quite a beast!! Also, I was wondering... Is the cheese that you have a clone of the original? From some of the slang that you use, it seems as if you may live in a place where it would be possible. Very nice grow so far, though.

Really? Never heard that one before. Is the sodium content not a bit high? I would worry about adding the wrong kind of salts to my soil. What's is supposed to do anyway, I mean, what's in Alka Seltzer that's benefial to the plant? I get the whole Epsom Salt thing, but that is well documented as a plant food and soil stabiliser for it's Mg content, but I could not find anything on Alka Seltzer excpet using it to clean ya silver.........or your toilet! Now that's going a bit far I would say! LOL

Hey S-Town...cheers for stopping by dude. Much appreciated. Yeah man, my JH is a beast....or a beauty! LOL! The buds are just starting to form on her many, many branches. As long as I can keep her healthy, she's gonna yield a SHIT load!

The Cheese, yeah, well I'm from the UK, so I guess that puts me in a the right place for it. Whether it's the orginal or not, I have no idea. I accquired it as a cut from a fellow grower and apparently it is orginal, but that's just what I was told. Sadly it doesn't come with a certificate of authenticity ;) Either way though, I know it's gonna produce me some lovely stinky bud! :blsmoke:

I finally got around to potting up the rooted clones. It's 2 weeks since taking cuts, both strains were WELL rooted in the cubes. Roots started to show around 10 days.

Cheese on the left, JH on the right.

Those clones are looking good man.
Best of luck with them:peace::joint:
cheers Nat...couple of days and they should get their grow on. I'm only going to be keeping only maybe 4 of the best. I need to make room to start some new seeds as well. I've decided on Black Domina. I'll probably order them next week some time.

Today is the start of week 3....

I fed/watered yesterday, 5 litres to each containing a light BioBizz Root Juice (3ml/L), to help combat the Fe deficiency and Iguana Juice Bloom (3ml/L). PH'd at 6.6....run off water was 6.6-6.7, so I guess that's good. No N in the feed this time as they had a good dose of some Fish Mix last watering. But I'll be giving a little N pep next time, then I will up the Bloom feed for week 4.

I don't think the yellowing is spreading, I don't expect it to go away, I just don't want it to spread. So I'm just monitoring things closely for now. The Cheese seems to have responded very well to it's last feed, so we'll see how they go.

Anyway, enough of all that....herer's the pics.....:peace:

cheers man. yeah, I'm well pleased with all the bud sites forming. I've got about 10 main branches, then they all have little side branches, it's just gonna be packed with buds. I wish I could take it out of my room to get a pic in all it's glory, but it just wouldn't fit through the door. I only just managed to get it in the room two weeks ago, no chance now! It will have to come out a piece at a time when it's ready! hehehehe!

Yeah the pics can never do the plants sizes and structures any real justice.
On a different note i just finished my Timeholes remix, wouldn't mind knowing what you thought of it seeing as your a techno processor lol  and whether the mix sounds any good on your equipment as it sounds great on my stereo but a bit tinny on my headphones:confused:
Hope you like it:blsmoke:

*** edit... didn't realise thread had more than 1 page lol, may seem out of context ***

Lots of light? Someone recently told me to up the feed... I was able to go to 2.0 without burn with thos under stronger light... I also used Formulex, a grow nutrient not bloom, as an addative to the bloom mix to combat yellowing... Formulex has quite a high nitrogen content and did really help... So did increasing the EC... Incresing the EC will only work by adding the right NPK and not by adding just anything to bring the EC up... Adding too much of what they do not need will surely result in some other deficincy.. I use Advanced Nutrients and use a variety of their products at any given feed time... The variety means I can tailor the mix and , hopefully, give the plkants what they need....

^^ That was just to expand upon what PC said ^^

yeah man, you know i do! Top Track! :blsmoke: btw....I checked it out through my Sony's and it doesn't sound so good.....bit 'tinny', like you say. Still a lovely track with LOADS of potential, but I found the kicks/bass a bit dissapointing through my headphones. I'm not sure what you need to do to make it sound better, but it needs something. Apart from that, top stuff dude! It's miles away from anything I could produce! I'd play it out though, given the proper mastering of course. You should ask FilthyFletch for some advise man.....he has a professional recording studio and this is his business, for a different genre, but the pricipals are the same and he could give your track a proper airing on his lovely studio monitors and then maybe some advice on the mastering?

yo HG...cheers for ya thoughts on the yellowing mate. I think I got it now. They just needed a boost of the micro nutrients, especially Iron, but they is doing just fine now and the yellowing has not spread any further yet. So I think it's under control.

All is progressing nicely so far and we're half way through week 3 flowering. The buds/trich's are really starting to come now. I'll post some pics later if I get chance.

The clones have really got their grow on now as well!

3 weeks tomorrow since I cut them and they're really getting going now. The growth in just the last 24 hours totally amazed me and they nearly grew into my light!

Cheese in the round pots, JH in the square pots....

I'll have to thin down the numbers soon as I want to get some new seeds started as well.....

I've finally made a decission and I'll be ordering Black Dominia seeds from Sensi! They're even more expensive now with the pound being so weak against the Euro, but that's just how it goes I guess. Maybe I'll try and find a good male and make some of my own seeds for next time! Some Black Cheese, or some Black Jack....now that sounds cool actually! Black Jack! :blsmoke:

good looking plant friend...
thanks man! :joint:

yeah, I keep up the veg ferts for the first three weeks flower. The last watering I gave them their last half dose of veg nutes, along with the bloom nutes. Next watering it is just plain water. Then I will condition the top soil in my pots with the last of my bat guano and water it in with a light bloom feed and we are set for the BUD development. My plants love the guano, but I have since found out that the collection of this 'shit' destorys their habitats....and we can't be having that, so I am looking for a replacement for the bat poo! Seabird guano is more eco friendly, but this is high in N, not P. So I need to do some research on this one. Anyway, thanks for stopping by dude! :joint:

I just went down to check on my plants and move my lights up a bit and I found a friend has moved into the grow room to keep guard of my babies as they flower.....

He's just sitting in his web right across the top of my cheese. Thanks buddy, you are most welcome.

Hey man thanks for listening and i am glad that you liked it.
Definitely needs to be mastered properly.
I have some computer tools to do this so i will try again and maybe add a bit more going on than before.
Thanks again for giving it a listen:blsmoke:
P.s. Cool spider:mrgreen:
