Im wanting to add a bit more power to my tent, So far its got 1X 900W (pulls 600W from wall) LED.

Iv ordered 2X CXA3070 3000K COBs.
Will be cooling them with 2 decent CPU coolers I have.

I was going to go with 2X lpc-60-1400 but they are out of stock with a 8 week wait time.
So I was wondering if there is a single driver I could use to power both these around this power each.

Also with a single driver would I be setting these up in parallel or series?

Thanks.

Thanks for reply. Just check stock on those nationally for my location and 16 week wait time to be restocked.
Im not a electronics kind of guy so not really sure how it works but what iv read is that In series you need to feed double the voltage you want since it would be halved by 2 LEDs.
Or run twice the current in parallel.
Is that correct, would help me to select the correct driver myself if it is and find one thats in stock.

You are correct on your series/parallel question. But it isn't recommended to run them in parallel as variances in Vf of the LED will mean the output will not necessarily be equal.

Ok, Ill try stick to series then, Pricing seems really bad on higher voltage drivers compared to higher current one.
To do it in series im looking at around $100 for higher voltage driver.
To do it in parallel im looking at around $70.
And to just use 2 drivers if they were in stock around $60. So its starting to look like it would be best just using two drivers and sourcing them internationally.

Trying to buy everything within NZ. Other wise would just Ebay it but then have 2 weeks wait.
Ebay is looking like the best option tho.

Thanks for taking the time to post tho, I appreciate it.

1750 is not a problem at all as long as you have a decent size heatsink. Stardustsailor had his at either 1950 or 2100 in one of his builds ("thinking of a new light" is the name of the thread).

The choice of coolers I have is either
2X FX CPU coolers which are meant to cool 125W

2X 7970 dual fan coolers which are meant to cool 200W

Im more inclined to go with the 7970 coolers and run the fans in reverse so they suck instead of blow. Then mount the driver ontop of it so it gets some air flow.
