It's a Surprise!

What's up guys!!!! So i'm gonna catch up on my setup and what I've done so far, and then try my best to stay updated on 'a few times a week' basis. I'm currently in my 4th week of growth, i would say my second week of veg.? But here it is
First, the breeds:

6 Fat Bastards (THC lab - 100% Indica)
6 Coumbian Red (THC lab - 100% Sativa)
9 SURPRISES!!! (it's an Indoor mix...don't remember the seed bank
so I'm in for a few surprises...which is exciting :))

-So I germinated 22 seeds, 21 sprouted, (distilled water in dark....thanks guys!) and i grew them in jiffy pellets in a reg. jiffy greenhouse under 4 floros.
-Applied some Omri root juice (1/8 strength) when i saw the first tips coming through.
-Few days later trasplanted all seedlings( all showed roots :) ) to 1 gallon pots with Fox Farm Ocean forest soil mix and perlite ( 3:2)
-11 under 4 floros, other 10 under 4 floros.
-After a few days, moved all plants under 1000W hps with 6 fluros to supplement and put fan on low setting. (HPS DOES WORLD OF DIFFERENCE!!)
-After witnessing a phosphorus deficiency in all my plants, I fed all plants a 1/4 strength feeding of maxigro, and they seemed to love it!
-made solution mix of half strength maxigro with a little more root juice (i use tap water that sat for 40 hrs, added nutes, and then adjusted ph of solution to 6.5)
-gave first feeding of solution mix 2 days after introducing the plants to nutes
-1000w hps is vented and runs to a 264 cfm dayton blower, which also is used to vent the closet (t joint)
-HPSlight is about 24 inchs above tops of plants
-temp ranges from 70-98 (this is the temp DIRECTLY under the light, I know it doesn't get this hot, but i think it's the extreme, so as long as it remains an outlier i'm good)
-adjusted fan to high setting (keeps plants cooler and stronger stems :) )
-After two days, soil was extremely dry and humidity in the 30%, so i fed again.
-And there! ALL caught up....

Here is the game plan (with some fundamental issues and would like some advice):

veg all 21 plants
3clones from each plant = 63
expecting only half to me female = 30ish
flower 30ish in 6 x 6 flower room under 1200W (600 W MH and 600 HPS) on circular mover( 40w/plant)
30 g/plant???
that should gimme like right at 2 lbs...(any calc mistakes?)

Here are some issues that are up for discussion:

I want to clone all so that I can get them flowering sooner ( I'm expecting that by the time clones develop enough to be transplanted to 5 gal pots for flowering, that I will have determined the sex of the moms (and in this case, pops, grrrrrrr), and can remove all clones labeled from that dad. Reasonable assumption?? I know its a large waste of space....but I'm not really that restricted, i got my entire basement. Should I wait to take cuttings until I know the sex of the seeded plants? That will take an extra month or so it seems, which doesn't make me happy :(. Or better yet, what are the drawbacks of flowering them to determine sex, then veg bak? I know you can do it, but i think i remember reading somewhere there are greater chances of hermies that way. Is that true? Open for discussion.

Second: I filled the 1 gal pots only half way each ( dumb beginner mistake, was being lazy with the mixing...stupid i know...won't happen again.) Well the result was that the stems stretched quite a bit the base (actually REALLY good because they are gonna be hella stalky), and i feel like they will need to be transplanted sooner. I can already see roots trying to poke out the bottom of the 1 gal pot. I want to transplant to 5 gal, but they've only been in 1 gal for 8 days....is that too much shock too quick? two transplants...but the roots are growing superbly (root juice perhaps)

Third: Feeding. I've fed them nutes twice, thurs and sat. Is that too much? I have notice more green in the leaves, and RAPID growth, both of new nodes and at existing nodes. Is feeding every other day too much?? Keep in mind that they are 2 feet under a 1000W HPS light, with really only 1/2 gal of soil/perlite mix. No yellow tips...but what are some other signs of over fert??? This is my biggest concern: I've seen instructional videos that say to water everyday during veg and every other during flowering, but it seems that everyday is no good for root growth. I want the roots to grow until they are bound, and then just feed as often as possible without any harm. I plan on continuing using this solution til end of next week, and then no more root juice, just maxigro. for flowering, fox farms tri package of open sesame, beastie bloomz, and Cha Ching.

I know I know, PICTURES!! I will try my best in the next week...I lost my battery to my digi cam, but i'll come up with something....but I gots mad work to do...set up rest of flowering room, transplant and maybe even take cuttings this week!?!?! woorrd....

Thank you guys SOOOOOOO MUCH. After overgrow shut down, i was depressed for a while....I thought it was the end of an era. But you guys have rejuvenated my spirits. You are the best! I am open to all suggestions, ideas, feedback, criticism, WHATEVER. leave it and spread the love. All and any advice is much appreciated. Time to burn one down.

So heres the first update. All are looking good...the colombian reds all have 8 nodes, with the 9th one growing in, while all fat bastards have 7 nodes with the 8th one growing in. The 9 surprises have a range from 7-9 nodes, im assuming that the ones with 8 and 9 nodes are sativa dominant.

Two days ago i took cuttings from 5 plants, a CR, A FB, and 3 surprises (1, 2, and 7) I cut the big fan leaves as they were getting really big and blocking light to the little branches.

I rooted the cuttings in some root stimulator powder for cuttings, and placed them in pellets in a humidity dome. i lef tthe vent open over night and some parts of the cuttings dried out. I want to see how effective it is to try and root the fan leaves. I know the little branches clone easier, but just testing out the fan leaves.

So the fan leave cuttings actually rooted! It's awesome. They are a pain in the ass really, and hard to manage. I have taken proper cuttings from all plants, and they have been placed under domes under floros. all moms and pops are doing good...transplanted 3 to 5 gal bags...need to do the rest soon, i KNOW they are root bound from the looks of the roots of the ones I transplanted. 1 of the transplanted plants seemed to stop growing over the past few days...shock I'm guessing.

I've been feeding everyday except the two days before i took clones (remove excess nitrogen). Only one plant (one of the surprises) showed signs of over fertilizing....leeched the soil for a few days, and now on a every other day feed schedule with that plant.
