Lets say for example, if i start some seeds under 12/5/1 they will have no more stretch then the ones started under 18/6?
I know for damn sure my sprouts under my gavita at 12/12 stretch much more then leaving them at 18/6 but im just not convinced that adding an hour in between dark hours would keep them from stretching even though they cant flower yet. I would just need to try it for myself lol
They stretch from seed at 12/12 cuz again your flipping to flower. This is still a vegetative lighting schedule. The plants never stretch if anything stay stout and short.

I don't seem to get a noticeable stretch outdoors compared to indoors and the abrupt switch to 12 so perhaps it's not quite the shock to its system when losing the 1 hour on so maybe less stretch??

new bitch . humidity .its fucking 97 % here . has been . if it goes down my dehumidifiers can stop running 24/7 killing the energy . its costing me almost 400 buck just for 2 dehumidifiers 1 month .. these units are not that exciting to run . rather have extra lights burning total bs . the ac is kept a bit cooler to to help out less humid . its 45 % stable but shit . change weather ... it killing me ! 1400 dollar electric bill expected . ... wonder if it would of been better to buy these cherry tomatoes at the store for 1 dollar ? lol .

^^^ I sometimes wonder that myself lol. It's a hobby for me like golf :). Yes I could tell the girlfriend to buy her own and if I bought a pound or two a year plus the outdoor (free) stuff I'd be ok. A pound costs me $1500-1600 here but it's outdoor which I'm not a huge fan. Besides what fun would that be lol. The ultimate would be we're allowed to grow 5-6 here next year, my outdoors would be a tad bigger :).

I don't go straight to 12/12. I go from 18/6 to 12/12 over a couple weeks.
