Been getting the following error in firefox, chrome and safari on Mac. I've had no problems for weeks but today I can't upload anything. File format is standard JPG and all under 600KB.

The following error occurred
There was a problem uploading your file.

It looks like on quick replies the option to upload images is there. However, if you click "more options" or attempt to create a post from scratch no dice.

Furthermore if you attempt to drag and drop an image into the editing dialog the message "Uploads are not available." appears.

Hi Sunni, how's the little one?will it take a while to fix posting pics?
Doing well
And not sure sorry I don't have an ETA on the fox yet my guess since it's already 6:30 pm it won't be fixed until tomorrow
Until than you can use the image url upload a guide to use that is found in my basic site functions thread pinned to the top of the list in support :)

The alternative allows one to reference an already uploaded image over http only. Back on the original issue, I'm guessing by the original error in console (500) it would appear that the normal upload destination directory no longer allows the service to write files. *-nix would be $chmod 775 "path/to/dir"

Just thought I'd let you know it's still not working right.

Every time I upload a picture the option to make it full size or thumbnail is not there. Sometimes on the first picture it is sometimes it's not. Sometimes it just shows JPEG with no options and no thumbnail pic.

I have discovered a way to still post them though. If you just click on the JPEG link it will take you to the URL within rollitup, you can then copy the URL and use the picture button above the text space to enter the URL.

Hope this is helpful,

It does it on my galaxy S5 (using the default browser) and on my iPad (using safari).

The iPad will occasionally work on the first picture but most of the time it just shows a blue square were the thumbnail should be and JPEG highlighted beside it. No buttons to use thumbnail or full size image.
The phone always does the later.

As I stated I can work around this, I just thought I'd point this out incase others are having the same issue.
