Benjamin Netanyahu was easily re-elected yesterday by Israeli voters running on a campaign that promised there will never be a State of Palestine, and that a more robust policy of settlement building in Jerusalem and other areas that have been placed off limits by the UN, the EU and the US, will occur. They basically said, again, fuck you to the world at large, we don't care what you ask us to do, we will do what we fucking want to do
This is my question. Should we still give Israel 3.5 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR, even though they as a nation voted yesterday to ignore the request by our government not to do exactly what they voted to do, or cut those cocksuckers off. I would say fuck you Israel, if you want to play by your rules only, don't expect the American people to pay for it, and don't expect any sympathy either when you cry that anti-Semitism is on the rise around the world. You voted for it in my opinion.

IMHO, we only have an obligation to keep Israel from being militarily over run and preventing a genocide.

Otherwise we should pull out of the ME and let the Shia and Sunni power brokers have the war they clearly want

We have an obligation to Israel? Who said so, and why?

WE said. Self rule. Sorry you don't like it. But, you guys try to change the oblgation but can't.

WE are doing it all, behind the scenes barking at these elected critters and the ones with access spend a lot of money to drink their liqour and scream in their faces.

I'm sorry. That's the real deal. When enough of the monied get drunk and scream to ditch Israel it will still not happen. But, remember it is not only the rich and drunk that do it. Letter writers are feared in the day of fax. If enough bother to scream all can happen. Didn't you know this?

I have called my Senator's offices directly. Have you ever? There is an entire world with worlds upon worlds that you can find out about. It is fairly public if you care to know. It is how it works.

You have simple Royalty beliefs but only when the DEMs are in.

IMO there is NO other country than our own that we should be supporting monetarily. I do not base this on any emotion or opinion of Israel (or the other dozens of countries we buy off).
our infrastructure is falling apart, we have plenty of homeless, sick and hungry, too.

we allow republican leaders carte blanche.

suspiciously, we (florida) get one (1) voting booth in a presidential and yet somehow all the rest re-appear in a gubernatorial.

we have a lot of work here at home.

in way I'm glad he won so everyone can stop pretending that Israel wants peace with the Palestinians. Now we know they want them gone and we can work from there.
Already officials (off the record by anonymous sources) of the State Dept. announced that it is going to re-evaluate the relationship to Israel by the US, seeing it was announced by the government of Israel that the formation of a State of Palestine will never occur, that they will expand settlement construction, and basically try to marginalize it's Arab citizens. This is goes directly against American policies that have been effect for more than 40 years, the Geneva Convention and UN sanctions in place now. It also was mentioned that the veto pen would no longer be a given by the US in the Security Council, in the UN.
Nice

Decades of saying we'd help protect Israel.

By "protect" I mean step in if Israel being overrun is imminent. Otherwise, we should turn our back on the ME.
Yea, after decades of Israel saying fuck you to American policies, all the while taking our money, our weapons, and hiding behind our back. No sympathy here anymore, fuck them.

Just a minute, are you telling me the "magic man" wasn't magic enough?

The economy is going like "gang busters"; he's given us this great and wonderful health care system, "shovel ready jobs", "fixed all our world problems" and you're complaining???

What the hell? You ingrate, not even a "Thank you Obama"!

We give so much away that is ignored. We send aid to China, Russia, Egypt, Jordan, North Korea, etc.

Try not to be so out of touch?
