Is this strain autoflowering?

Hey guys and gals,

I am growing ak48 right now and I took my clones awhile back and followed the water cloning method in the growfaq to a t. They were in water for 18 days and then humidity dome for 3 days and now have been under 24 hours of light 7 days or 10 days if you include the 3 in the humidity dome. They are growing well but I checked them today and 2 of 3 are already showing preflowers. Is this strain autoflowering or is this a bad thing? They are virtually ready to go into the flower chamber but I thought if you saw flowers in 24 hr that it meant they were autoflowering.Thanks in advance.

Big misconception. The plants will grow pistils during the veg. period, the pistils don't signify the plant is producing buds yet-- just that it's sexually mature.

They are doing fine. They have been put into flower which has basically taken another week off the schedule. More clones will be taken in a few days. The clones are really growing fast since they went in the flower room. Their mother is a week out from harvest and she is looking great. I think I might fall a little short or SMB's tally because I ran into a deficiency half way through flower. Due to low ph. She has recovered fast. I have decided to flush the clones early and water without adjusting down. I will have this down to harvest a little bit short of every two months. This grow has proven to me that growing with a cfl rig can be very productive. I have no popcorn buds. Even the ones at the very bottom have filled in nicely. Pain is always moving the cfl's. That gets very time consuming. However the plant has come along and produced very evenly. The key is plenty of lights and get em close. SMB has my endorsement. If you follow the buds for less book, even a complete noobie could nail it. I water on a bit of a different schedule though but that has more to do with atmospheric conditions.

I did some research and this strain is an autoflowering strain. That is fine though. I only plan on cloning this strain through a couple generations and starting from scratch when I buy a new house.

Thanx. After prying my eyes from your new avatar I checked out your grow journal again. The most recent crop is looking sweet. I am amazed you got such growth with the lights so close to eachother. I am doing major training this time to keep these girls short. Nice bud and bod babe.:hump::mrgreen::blsmoke:

They were on 24hr. There really was nothing wrong other than they were showing there femininity(spelling). They went into the flower room shortly after I noticed. They are doing awsome since they went into flower. 100% clone success rate. :joint:

I have been slacking with the pics. I will get some before and after harvest. I'll pop some of the clones then as well. Expect the pics next week sometime.

I got my seeds from dutchseeds. They came in nirvana packets though. So they must go through nirvana. I have had 100% germ rates and all have been good and healthy except for my dumbass mistakes. I think I am gonna try some mango next time.
