Is this fan good? Its CHEAP

what do you think? also, with a 8 in fan can you use a reducer to suck air from an air cooled reflector?

1) yes that's a good fan by a good company

2) why not get a fan for the size hood you have, more like a 4" or 6"? reducers limit the fan's capabilties

Yes I agree. Get a 6" or 4" for the fans and get these for space ventilation. Nice price too...might have to look for these locally.
