Obama pardoned a few crack convictions because the sentence guidlines were too harsh. Just a few mind you. Can you say token?
IMO all of our laws regarding drugs have too harsh a penalty. Its my body, I should be free to get high if it's not infringing on others rights.

Obama is the stingiest president when it comes to pardons. He has only pardoned 3 people since in office.

We need a massive pardon of all cannabis related charges. That would make the space we need to incarcerate violent criminals for their whole sentence.

OK, "phew" dont let his pardoning get out of hand, they do this here, rapist, murders, all kinds of criminals are let back on to the unsuspecting populous, we are know as the murder capital of the world, we are also known as the rape capital of the world, so letting out criminals is just not a good idea.

pardoning the other 8800 would be a bit absurd, but congress can do it if they choose to act.

Then do you suggest a retrial? The DEA war on drugs wants high drug conviction rates, even if it means throwing out rape and murder. How else do we prove we mean business with eliminating illegal drugs? Bitch should've went on an SSRI. Maybe he wouldn't have raped and killed.
