Is this a seed or a swollen calyx?

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to get a little feedback/opinions on whether these are seeds or just swollen calyxes? For a little background info:

• Reserva Privada OG#18 in soil (2 og#18 and 2 rocklocks all from clone)
• Just started week 5 of 12/12
• LxWxH 2x2.5x5 closet grow with 400w lumatek bulb & ballast
• Botanicare CNS17 W/ supplements (all botanicare)

I know the leaves are a little wilted, they had a little drought, but I was hoping someone can relive my stress and tell me these aren't seeds forming on my buds. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

I had the same fears with my lsd grow. Not balls friend, you can see the little white hairs.

It looks very much like a seed to me.

No way, those are not balls, those are gonna be huge buds with calyxes like that! LOOKING GOOD!

Thx for the compliment. This is my 2nd grow, the 1st one didn't yield very much. So comments like that really boost my confidence. Lets me know im on the right track

If there's ever 2 white hairs coming from what looks like a "seed"... it's not a seed. Keep it up!

That's what Im saying, but that one there if you look closely the pistils appear to have retracted into the calyx.

That's why I feel that there is at least a lone seed there in the top of that bud.

I could be wrong though.

Well I was giving this a little more thought over a nice bong load... I carefully looked over them all and could not find 1 banana, but even if it or they are seeded, this has been a beautiful strong plant, and I think it might even be a blessing if it is a seed. I kinda feel like the mature teenager that was freaked out about having a kid, but then realized the blessing that it may become...

.....I gotta stop smoking hash. I think it makes me emotional..lol.

I cloned a flowering plant and revegged it and right after the clones got roots and started to grow that is what the bud looked like. So, could you have left the lights on a little too long, like it's trying to reveg possibly? As I said that might not be it, but I had some buds do that while I was cloning and revegging them...so....Oh and there were no seeds in those plants either...that was my first thought---"Holy crap I knew I shouldn't have done this! Now it's lumpy and making seeds...but it wasn't. It started growing out of the bud...bunch of branches right out of the bud...crazy.

They're in the beginning of week 6, and I'm on top of their light schedule, so I know they aren't re vegging. I'm so close to harvest (roughly 2 or 3 more weeks) I'm just going to let them go. If they are seeds I'm gonna grow em out. Bottom-line. Just want to say Thx to everyone for the excellent responses... This was my first time starting a thread...

In case anyone wants to stop by again, I will be updating with some pics soon.

Well I gave them a little squeeze like some have suggested, and I'm glad to say they didn't feel hard. They're in week 7 (guessing) of flowering, and packing on some heave trichomes....

I promised an update, so here is a pic of the rocklocks I have going. I'll have some new pics up soon of the OG#18 I started the thread about. Thanks to everybody for stopping in.

guess some people arent aware that seeds develop in the calyx when pollinated. A lot of ignorant advise in this thread. Thankfully this thread was save by the last few post on the second page
