Is this a phosphorus deficiency?

To high of ppm/ec can lock out other elements creating an illusion deficiency just learned this the hard way locking out ca or mg was exhibiting a bit of both tbh and the more cal and mg added it got worse and faster so flushed for few days started at half of what I was at and problem fixed in a few week.

what is your 380 ppm made up of?
water ppm
nute ppm
additives ppm

cuz like bugeye said i would not expect that to burn them but its very possible!

i burned 5 foot plants in a wilma dwc/mod at 500 ppm @ .5 scale

thats a point actually what scale is your ppm meter read?

does it read ec?

all these things matter when trying to diagnose the problem

what light u using?

that will determine feed strentghts to a point

then temps and humidity further determine strengh

not over loading u jus trying to help

No problem I appreciate the help 3(1k) hps 20/4 for the light cycle. Calmag Mills A&b and start from Mills us there rooting nute that's what I use. Tdsx500

Did the problem start when you began using calmag? Why did you start using calmag? What problem were you having. (I think calmag is overused. Everyone hears about everyone else using it and it's just accepted that everyone has to have it.).

I started using it after the issue but still didn't fix it.

Photos in natural light of the whole plant, and closeups would be helpful. I don't see much of a problem, but the yellow color of the HPS makes it hard to see. If it was just lower leaves, they could be dying off due to lack of light.

Thank you Bro I figured this out today I have a gallon of gh red and white bottle calimagic and I also have a liter bottle I think the gallon went bad because it was black n the liter yellow brownish. So if it went bad that's y what do you think

not sure what your problem is with your plants but you got me thinking about my nutes and how long they last for so I looked at my Cal-mag from botanicare and my was a yellowish/brownish color like your second pic...hope's that helps you some..Got thinking about how long do nutes last for..I am on my second real grow and have had these nutes for almost year...

That's what I'm saying I'm not sure how long it last but the colors of both the same product should be the same I would think

Nah bro that's definitely a Phosphorus deficiency.... raise your ppms or switch to a bloom nute until it rebounds... those leaves won't recover but it should stop the necrosis from spreading any further...go with your gut bro!!! You knew what the problem was and now look at all the nonsense lol. Good luck brotha!!

What about adding some gh micro to my res

Just add this to my res with my regular nutes? Is that ok

Personally I'd flush and run bloom for the next few days to see if that corrects the def. Adding more stuff just makes it harder to figure out what the root problem is.

I just flushed yesterday added new calmag n ppm at 370. I was gonna just wait n hope the problem fixes itself because like you said wouldn't want to add something and make things worse just not sure what to do

In those last pictures I see slight ca def, not mg. Get some gypsum from your garden center, dissolve in water (to the extent it will dissolve), strain the undissolved out, and mix your nutes in that. This will get calcium to the plant.

Calmag will work. But, I think calmag is overused. You'll treat mg def when there is no mg def.

I dissolve egg shell in vinegar and dehydrate into powder. I use that for treating infrequent ca def. About 1/8 tsp/gal for a slight def like yours. It's more soluble than gypsum. It's pure (almost, not counting egg residue and trace minerals in egg shells). It's immediate acting. But, takes about a month to prepare.
