So I have an unknown plant growing next to my guaranteed female, I know cuz it's a clone of mine. Well I've had trouble sexing it and need help. Also how I will remove the roots from the entwined female roots. Thanks in advance.14689287331192063612114.jpg 14689287331192063612114.jpg

Really?? That makes me a little relieved. It's my favorite plant. I was stressing that it would pollinate the others. Ill post more as time goes on. I'm about to flip it to 12-12. And please any more input is Appreciated. Thanks

You'll know within a week after flipping.

Looks like undifferentiated primordia. Give it longer. The one that's labelled male preflower could just as easily turn out to be female. If they aren't actually roundish and solid you can't be sure. Undifferentiated primordia look exactly that that, with little petal-like things that you can pull open with a pin. They're not solid like real male flowers. I've seen those lots of times on young plants that later proved to be female.

Just give it time and be 100 percent sure it's male before you cut it out you'll have plenty of time even after you sex it if it is male.......and as long as you get rid of the plant I don't think the roots make a difference if there wrapped up together in the bed with the female as far as I know it's just pollen sacks you gotta worry about

I don't see one male flower on any of those pics, just undiffed. You should find real flowers near the top, if not now then shortly. If it's older than a few weeks then there should be full flowers near the top, unless you're using 20/4 or 24/0. Don't give up on it yet. Could still get lucky.

@Mattyp511 hey man saw the pics your unknown looks similar to mine...I as well have a for sure autoflower female next to it. I'm 8 days in flower for unknown and I have growth but I haven't spotted any signs to know for sure if it's female or male.... lemme know what u think. Hey sorry for the late reply... I was moving and let my friend watch my plants at his house and took him a whopping 3 dsys to basically kill them. So I've been busy clipping clones and trying too salvage what i could. Luckily i saved one and got three more growing off clones of some that didn't make it... RIP weed plants. But anyways your plants look nice, really nice. But i can't Quite tell I'd need a closer pic of the node area. Or Where the pre flower would normally be. I'm sure buy now you have found out the sex. Or still no luck? And mine ended up male. I let it go another few days and the nuts got more distinguished. Sucked. But i ripped that sucker out, had to chop off all the roots and replaced it with a clone. Decided I'm gonna stick with clones of the female cuz i know the needs of it plus then i don't put all my time and effort and nutes into an unknown plant that could end up male. So let me know how you're s turned out. Would hate to see such a good looking plant get chopped.

@Mattyp511 yea man thnx interestingly enough the biggest unknown plants were males of course .....I was so sad to cut em but I did and thnx to the forums here I was able to distinguish and cut properly because the other 3 unknown all turned female and have shown hairs and buds so I learned a lesson and also saved my crop so big thnx to riu for real. Yea I feel your pain it sucks cutting em down I'll post some pics of the female unknown later good luck with those clones once this harvest done I'll look into cloning the next batch

Yea it sucks to see your biggest ones go, but its worth it when you realize the damage they can cause. At least a few turned out female. Hopefully it's some good smoke. Im curious how the buds turn out. Keep me posted! Happy growing
