Is smoking legal weed bad if ur pregnant?

Jesus man... Be careful man... You could lose your child and girl easily here... Tell her you care for both her and the child and explain that smoking anything for the next 8/9 months is a bad idea... And she definately needs to quit that leagal shit... Its Evil... I would'nt be too bothered about her smoking a ''little'' weed each night to help her relax/sleep but she shouldnt be getting stoned to core on a regular basis!! maybe cookies or others weed food stuffs would be a good ides instead of smoking...

idk thats why I was asking yall and getting information about it cause Im gonna talk to her about it and really be like look u need to stop its not worth you getting high and maybe hurting our baby but idk how I would be able to get any proof showing her smoking it or anything so if I couldnt get any proof what should I do like how can I proove shes smoking it if Im not around her while shes smoking it?

yeah man thats what Im saying I dont want to lose her for good or the baby I love them both more than anything but shes 4 months pregnant but she quit smoking real weed and switched to the legal stuff which I wish she would have just stuck with the real thing but idk man Im really just stressing about it and want her to stop so my baby can be as healthy as it could be

Did you check out the last link I posted? There's a test for "legal weed", and I'm sure that they would use it in court. Also if any of your friends are cool enough with you they could be used as witnesses. I'm telling you bro you would win this in court easily. I mean I'm not a law expert or anything, ha but common sense tells me they would have a huge amount of sympathy for the baby. You can call a lawyer (they don't charge just to call) and see what they think can be done about it.

yeah I seen it but I didnt see how long it last in your system so I feel like if I did take her to court by the time they did administer the drug test it would be out of her system

Yeah... this is a bad idea that will loose you a child, a girlfriend and a load of cash...

It takes 3 days for it to leave your system. So yeah that would be hard. Damn dude your situation sucks. Just apologize for whatever you did that put you in a bad standing with her and when you do talk to her she will be more considerate of what you're saying.

The court would give the father the child (the mom is the one in trouble), if the girlfriend won't stop smoking for the baby then I don't think she deserves to be with op and and keep the child (no offense igrow), loosing a girlfriend is better than loosing a child's life, a child's life is priceless (sounds corny but 100% true).

no offense taken and yeah I agree even if it dosnt kill the child it still isnt healthy for it but I just need to figure out what I need to do Im going to talk to her first and really ask her to stop but if she wont I really might just have to play hardball on this one

Im just talking about this legal stuff in case she doesnt listen, I honestly couldnt find any hard evidence that k2 spice is bad for you or the baby, but man I just know it is. You know?

Well done for the info you're putting up Hephaestus!

I'd say avoid smoking ANYTHING or drinking whilst pregnant. All those carcinogens and toxins ante all well and good alone but not when you're sharing your bloodstream with someone incapable of disposing of them like you. I know it's debated whether or not certain substances can be directly transferred via the umbilical cord but it's better to be safe than sorry.

My mother smoked a lot of weed. I was born with a heart murmur at 4lbs, had to put in intensive care, my mother and I nearly died from complications, I have learning difficulties and a form of autism. It's taken alot of work to gain the level of cognition I have now but when I was a baby/toddler I was so mentally absent, doctors thought I was totally deaf at one point. (Yes I read through my old paperwork an assessments)

If your girlfriend can't stop smoking for the sake of her baby, you or even herself then I have no respect for her. If we only look at psychological effects and not inhaling any kid of smoke, she could at least go for edibles? With her pregnancy craving and all that, a pot brownie would be way better than smoking that poison-laced shit referred to as 'spice'.

If you can't buy them anywhere, she should be able to make them.

She's a woman supposedly.

Smoking anything of any kind is not recommended during pregnancy. Smoking decreases oxygen to the baby causing low birthweight and in some cases premature birth. As for adverse effects on the fetus directly, I don't know, I wouldn't take a chance. There is a large possibility K2 posses a threat to the fetus. I would tell her to stop immediately.
