Tested my tap water compared to the RO from the walmart primo machine.
Is my tap water looking good?

TAP:
PH=8.0
EC=0.16
PPM (each setting cause I don't know)
500/81
700/114

RO:
PH=7.3
EC=0.08
PPM
500/48
700/72

EC and ppm are different units of the same measurement.

Ec is 1000 parts per million
500 ppm is 500 parts per million
700 ppm is 700 parts per million
What you said is 100% correct, but using the ppm scale is very misleading as it has little correlation with actual elemental ppm in the water.
Different salts have different conductivity.

1 EC = 500 ppm is true only if measuring a NaCl solution.
1 EC = 700 ppm is true only if measuring a KCl solution.

If measuring anything else, the ppm values are meaningless.

All the more reason to stick with EC since that's what the meter is measuring.

*I missed the "Ec is 1000 ppm" line. That's not correct.
EC is only a measure of conductivity.
1 ms = 1000 μS

Woah, I had no idea that was the case. Thanks!
