is my plant to small?

I planted my germinated seed about 6-7 days ago and now its 1 and half inches tall and starting to grow little speared leaves. i cant geta pic yet but its about 1 and half inches tall with 2 small speared leaves. im growing outdoors so its getting about 5 hours direct sunlight and 3 hours indirect light almost sun all day. does that sound like the plant is doing fine for the hours of light? btw this is my first grow.

sounds about the correct size for a week old seedling. 8 hours of light might not be enough light for it to thrive though. optimum light schedule for vegging plants is 18 hours of direct light per day
