My plants about 7 days or 6. Im using one 4200 lumen 2700k cfl and am planning on plugging in 2700 lumen 2700k bulb in and getting some 6500k ones as well. Does my plant look okay for how old it is? Thanks, and happy smoking!20150705_141119.jpg20150705_141055.jpg 20150705_141031.jpg

dont use the same soil when you transplant. looks like alot of bark or dark compost, probably way off on ph, but wont affect it right away as much as later in the gals life. just see if you can find some better soil and mix in some perlite for airation and drainage

Thanks. Any recommendations on soil? And I started to notice the tips of each leaf is slowly fading in color and will eventually turn brown then die. Happened to me before. Any idea on how to fix it? Thanks again

what kinda seeds r u using?
for soil if you r in canada or the states u can use pro mix, i had good results with those, fox farm soil can be good too but sometimes they r a bit too hot for young plants.

I was planning on transplanting into fox farm soil, if not then just regular soil thay would do no hard and use Fox farm nutrients. And I dont know what strain I have. I have a jar full of them from over the years. Thanks!

Your plant looks normal for its age, however, it seems to be a little pale in color. Looks like it needs more blue light (6500K). Blue light will help your plant green up at this stage.

The minimum lumen output for a square foot is 2K, mid range is 5K and optimal lumens per square foot is from 7K up.

Try using the 6500K (blue light) for vegging.. the 2700K (red light) promotes root growth and flowering. Both may be used at the same time.
