Well more light penetration is just common sense that yes you WILL get more yield, but veg them longer and make sure they are healthy to see a REAL yield difference. Just throwing the same veg time plants and similar plants just changing amount under the light will yield tad more but doubt you notice.

I just pulled 9oz dry in zips off a chemdog under a 600 with 3 other plants fighting for that light, don't know if that's "enough" for you but it is for me.

If you put a Big rootball under them hence the vegg time you will

You can get big yield as long as you have all parts of the plant getting light. I use a screen and once I weave the branches sround and let them grow up they grow at the same exact height with a cola every inch and a half or so. I recommend 2 plants. I used 6 for a 2x2x5 area and they crowded a little. I am using 4 right now and already plan for 2 my next round per 600w light. The light will penetrate the canopy and in to the heart of the mess. Use tru blooms as foliar every 4 days to prevent mold. I haven't had mold 2 grows with leaf on top of leaf on top of leaf. Worked with chemdawg og and also grand daddy purp.

If just one tip you take away listen to Big Buddha. Veg time is the key piece missing when guys with big systems and big lights complain about low yield. Impatience is not a virtue.

Couldn't agree more. I veg my plants about a month from 1' clone.

cheers guys, i always thaught its just a bigger veg time obv along with every outher factor, sounds like it is that simple veg longer . i always liked the idea of a scrogbut still havnt done 1 yet i have a 1.2x2.4x2.0 meter tent with 2 600s in there filter extractor and using a extroctor as a inline at mo and getting the co2 ready for next grow, got my blue dreams cuttings so i think just a longer veg time, or... depends how fast they grow how big would you recomend before flower because she stretchs like crazy, ive read some where 12inchs, but ive been topping mine i would like to see her grow natural with 1 big cola. any 1 grew blue dream in a bubble bucket and recomend a veg height so she desnt go out of control. cheers

9oz yeh i would be happy with that, i average about 2 per plant some times little more some times little less, but im constantly experimenting so my yeild is up and down , cant seem to get past 2 really , ive just chaopped my first blue dream dwc down and very succesful im sticking with dwc from now on, its like starting all over again goin from coco to dwc with the the water temps, checking ec, ph, root rot, algea etc, so ill give her longer veg and fingers crossed
