Is it to late to use CS?

Plants are 4 days into flower is it to late to use cs?

no you can start now, should be about 2 weeks give or take depending on the concentration of silver and how often you make applications

It says several times daily for 14 days or till pollen sacks start. It just says at the start of flowering. My girls only take 7 days to show sex not 14 will I still be on track to self her or will the pollen develope to late in to the game. I have another clone of her that just rooted but it will be a while about 5 months before she goes in to flower( I have floros so veg is slow) could I store the pollen this long and still have it be viable to use then and or on other plant in the future? One more question if I only treat one branch with cs and keep it isolated when spraying can I still consume the rest of the plant? I have done some searching and have not come to an answer yet!

you can try it, might still have time. I start in week 3, and go till they show sex about 4 weeks total

About consuming it, I wouldn't and don't. It seems fine to smoke the rest just not the part you sprayed but I don't chance it. I keep it small and only for seed production so whatever I do toss isn't much.

was thinking the same thing that they should be 8 inches at the most and I could just pollinate a bigger clone of her for harvest. How long can you store the pollen for ? I have access to a food vacuum sealer. I only put 4 under a 600 watt hps because I like big plant but if they were smaller I could add the other 2 for pollen collection.

I wouldn't smoke the treated part of the plant but is the rest ok to smoke . Does the cs change any untouched part of the plant?

I don't know, I don't think it changes anything except the one branch. I'm just to chicken shit to find out lol. It seems that if CS was effecting the whole plant from one treated spot that the whole thing would turn male. As for pollen its good for awhile, just don't get it wet. I don't save mine, one and done. I take a clone from a plant and use the clone for seed production only. I treat it like an auto flower.

4 days into flower is fine. You should only spray one of them though completely, and then use that pollen on the others, instead of partislly spraying the girls and then smoking the unsprayed parts. No point risking it honestly. You'll also probably get better results and more pollen. If you are using that premade stuff you bought on ebay, it most likely isn't pure or even real CS. Real, well made CS won't burn your plant at all. All the more reason not to smoke any of hte sprayed plant (if it is premade stuff) since you don't even know what it is 100%, so even if with CS it would be ok to ingest the non sprayed branches (which I have no science to prove or disprove), you wouldn't be sure that is the case with whatever you are using now. If you want to test it, shine a laser through the "CS" and it shoud show the entire beam clearly without particles floating around in it.

yeah just watch a vid where the guy was spraying it... spray was going everywhere and would definitely fuck up plants close by IE unsmokable... think I might go the small paint brush techinque

Yeah me to plus you save cs if you paint it on the stem and bud sites. I don't think I would put it on the leaves cause of clogging the stomata.

If it is made properly, it won't clod anything because the sliver particles will be so small they can pass through the plant cell walls. That's how they get into the plant to work on the reversal process. Store bought stuff isn't usually pure cs tho so it often has much larger particles and sometimes even different ones, which burn the plants a lot.

i spray leaves tops and bottoms and budsites
if it burns your leaves then the PPM is too high and it should be cut down with distilled water

you do know silver is naturally in the plants ? but at a much lower concentration
the silver binds to the copper in the plant and with out the copper the plant is tricked into thinking its male
it would work the opposite if you sprayed copper on a male plant never tried it just a theory

That would be an experiment I would like to see! Breeding all male seeds! It would be a lot easier then storing pollen for breeding! I'm gonna try to make my own cs in a few weeks it's a lot cheaper I just haven't had the time or a ppm meter!
