Is it safe uploading photos to other hosting sites to publish on rollitup?

sorry not sure where to post this thread.

Do you think it's safe uploading photos of your grow to free image hosting sites so you can link to cannabis forums like rollitup?

If it's illegal in your country and let's say you take a photo on your smart phone and have "location services" ON, it may embed your location into the photo details.

Do you recon these hosts may pass this information on to authorities when it goes through their moderation team? Or am I been paranoid?

im not really sure this is a website support question so much as youre asking about image hosting websites , support forum youre posting in is for ours (rollitups) support services.

but we have a stickied thread at the top of the support detailing how to remove the metadata from your smartphone photos should you have had your location services ON at the time you took the photos.

you should use rollitups internal photo uploader , alot of users do not like to click unknown links to image hosting websites, and often those websites have porn pop ups along with them.

Aaaah that's the word I was looking for "metadata" do you think there is any risk of the host passing data on the police, I guess chances are slim aye. I will check that sticky thanks :)

What host our host ?
Or image hosting websites ?

If you mean ours no they wouldn't do that we've been around since 2006

I may have to remove the photos from the website which means they also won't show on my journal :(
